The Court meeting finished quite early though on a friendly note which rarely occured. The queen Thalia sat on her throne as she watched every move her son, the crown prince Alexandro made.

He stood from his seat and stood before her. He was dressed like a true prince who was ready to rule the kingdom well.

That was the part the court wanted to see that he showed them. This prince was never one to button up, and found it rather a distress to have court meetings in the morning.

" You've been staring at me for quite sometime now, mother, is anything wrong?", He asked ingeniunely worried. He asked because she looked as pale as the grim reaper himself.

" I see you've been doing a lot for sometime now", she said not looking at his charming face. She sometimes lost concentration when she looked at him.

He looked like his god of a father.

As charming as the heaven itself.

" What do you mean, mother?" He asked .

His thought was very much divided. A large part was thinking about the lady Celine; what she was up to now, and how he left her speechless, though knowing she had more to say.

Well, the smaller part was on what his mother, the queen Thalia was saying.

" I heard your activities lately, what you've been up to", she said not still looking at him.

"I've been up to a lot, lately, your majesty". He sounded so indifferent that his mother for a time didn't know he had made a statement.

" Tell me, fondling with the lady Celine is it part of your activities?" She asked waiting for him make an expression.

What was she thinking, this son of hers for such a long time had never wore an expression other than this.

" Maybe", he said bluntly.

" You and that shameless brat. The one whom gave her body to you, do you also want to be shameless?" She asked.

The crown prince Alexandro yawned beautifully covering his mouth and looking so tired.

Her statement suddenly made him so tired.

" If I'm shameless, my lovely queen mother, Thalia would be the most shameless ", he said calling her by her name.

For the twenty five years she had spent with her son, he had never called her by her name. She sometimes became so worried that he didn't know her name.

But now, it felt oddly strange, like an insult. He either called her mother, mom or those royal title.

" You called me ..." He cut her short. " I thought you'd be grateful I did", he said and she calmed down. He was trying to change the subject.

" You kissed her , you've been in her room till daytime and l hear she wore obscene clothes last night ", she said and he shifted his gaze to her knot then back to her face.

" I told you not to meddle with my love life", he said quite annoyed. " I shouldn't meddle with my son's relationship with women", she too was very much annoyed.

" Yes", he said and she scoffed. Now looking at him having grown angry. " And why's that?" She asked rage filling her body that she began breathing out a hundred degree smoke.

" Because no one did to yours, if I'm not mistaken ", he said suddenly relaxed. "What do you know, because I chose the right person"

" You sound so much like that fairy tale, was it snow white or Cinderella?" He mocked.

" Do you think I want you to marry a nobody. Out there, we have women kings ,ruling their people, but you sort to marry a peasant who lives with a family in Garcia?" She said already bursting open like dried okra releasing it's seed.

The crown prince Alexandro waited to analyze what had just been said, then his eyes brightened and came back to it's original position _ danger... Sensual... .

" Pray tell, your majesty, you did a background check. You mist be suddenly bored with the state affairs ", he said and she sighed.

" Did you think I wanted a peasant in my house? I tried to contain my anger that her parents are mere nobles" , she said calming down herself.

The crown prince Logan did the work. He knew that woman , the queen Thalia would do some background check. She was overly sensitive to poor people, they made her sick.

" Still, do you have to do such shameless thing? How would the people see it?" She asked rather concerned.

The crown prince Alexandro sighed. " The people won't see anything. Hunger must have blinded them, so they don't want to and cannot see a thing that is going on", he said quite annoyed with the queen.

He remembered what the lady Celine had told him. How the people suffered and now taxes were being extended to the commoners. To the non civil servants.

" You are plainly blinded by infatuation. You must see that the lady is using you" the queen screamed and stood from her throne and came close to her son, though three to five steps away.

" Infatuation is ectasy , though a mere euphoria. It's better than getting married with nothing at all", he said and meant it.

" What do you mean, royal marriages are more than just mere romance, they are..."

"I have no intentions of marrying the lady Celine. All I want is to give it a try and if you want a promise, mother..."

He looked intently makingvhis mother look away, then he continued.

" ... If she makes a wrong move, I personally must have her head", he said it and he, the crown prince of Xavier never for once broke a promise... Only once... .

" Still, if you fall inlove the next thing is to marry her as the crown princess", she said.

" A lady who can't curtsy and doesn't know how to tie her knot properly" she said.

The crown prince Alexandro walked to his mother and covered the distance. He bent to her to whisper something, then her eyes widened.

" You, gave you become so shameless, how could you openly say that you love ke a dirty rag. It's pure disgrace for a crown prince ", she said and he laughed mockingly.

" I didn't openly say it. I whispered,your highness ", he said and turned to leave.

" And oh, your knot has been untied since we started speaking. Maybe the officials saw it too"

And he left.

She looked at her knot. It was a lie, he must have... No... He wasn't....

She was done for the day.
