chapter six
PREVIOUSLY…
NARRATION: Raymond decides to take Sunflower out for a walk and in the process is seen by his wife who he thinks is dead but now works for Jack Ethan. Raymond thinks his disguise had hidden is identity but Ella knows him too well.
NARRATION: Raymond goes to his room putting on a sad face.
Louisa: Sunflower, did something happen while you were outside with dad?
Sunflower: no, I think he is just exhausted.
NARRATION: Raymond talks to himself in a very low tone.
Raymond: it can't be, no, it's not her right? She's dead or maybe it's just her look alike. I need to go out again and I hope I'll see her again.
NARRATION: Ella arrives at Jack's house.
Jack: I'm so happy to see you but I just can't believe you lost him. Don't blame me you're the one who doesn't know the right time to call.
Jack: and don't tell me you still have feelings for him after he left you to die, started a new life and forgot all about you.
Ella: anyone would have thought I was dead and I know he would never forget me.
Jack: this is not the right time to start your old love story ok, You have me now, I'll never leave you for anything but we have to find Raymond. He owes me a lot.
NARRATION: Jake smiles strangely.
NARRATON: Ella doesn't say a word.
Jack: you have to stay focused.
Ella: whatever.
Jack: this is not the time to be stubborn Ella.
Ella: I thought he was dead, you told me the humans killed him when he came looking for me, you lied to me.
Jack: I had to, if I had told you he was still alive would you have been here with me?
Ella: I would have stayed with you besides you saved my life.
Jack: lies, all lies, you think Raymond will let you go that easy.
Ella: so what's the plan?
Jack: when you see Raymond again, approach him and tell him all that happened and in place of where I
saved you, make a story of how you escaped. Tell him how you searched everywhere for him after some
months. Make him believe your story, make him emotional, tell him how you almost got killed again
trying to find him. He'll surely let you into his home which we don't know the location currently. When
that's happens I'll tell you the rest of the plan.
Ella: tell me now.
Jack: it's not yet time for you to know baby girl.
NARRATION: Jack smirks.
Ella: I don't like the look on your face. That look means you're planning something evil and dangerous.
Jack: you know me too well love.
Ella: why Raymond?
Jack: let's leave that story for another day.
Ella: I want to know now.
Jack: not today.
Ella: now!
NARRATION: Ella the table beside her really hard
NARRATION: Jack grabs her by the throat.
Jack: you think you're so tough huh. Don't forget I can take your breath away anytime I please.
Ella: i… ca… can't… breath.
Jack: I know.
Ella: I'm sorry.
Jack: that's not enough.
Ella: I love you. You're hurting me.
Jack: would you follow my order?
Ella: yes
NARRATION: Jack releases her throat.
Ella: what do you need me to do?
Jack: I told you all about it already
Ella: ok fine, I will do just that.
Jack: make sure you don't get caught.
Ella: I'll try my best.
Jack: your best is not enough.
Ella: what?
Jack: now you know who you're messing with, I need more than your best.
Ella: so when do we start the mission?
Jack: when next you see Raymond.
NARRATION: Jack kisses Ella softly.
Raymond: Sunflower will you like to go for another walk?
Sunflower: yes! Yes!!
All: again?
Raymond: we need to finish our tour.
NARRATION: deep inside Raymond he just wanted to be sure it was his wife he saw the last time.
Louisa: you know what? I don't give a fuck about going outside anymore.
Michael: dad please don't listen to her and take me with you.
Kyle: I'm with Michael.
Raymond: only Sunflower is going with me.
Lynn: do you always have to be lame dad?
Sunflower: I'm sorry guys.
Jake: don't be, it's dad's fault. He's not even apologizing.
Raymond: don't give me that look. Why should apologize for no reason?
NARRATION: Jake goes to his room.
Raymond: so, Sunflower, tomorrow.
Sunflower: yeah.
NARRATION: Raymond goes to his room and starts talking to himself.
Raymond: I can't believe I'm using Sunflower as an excuse to go out or should I tell the others? No they
would want to come with me only Sunflower should know. I think I'm going to just keep it to myself.
Jack: Ella you're going to that same place same time tomorrow maybe you might see him there.
Ella: I'll do my best.
Jack: now that's the woman I fell in love with.
NARRATION: Jack hugs Ella.
NARRATION: The next day
Raymond: hey guys.
All: hey dad.
Sunflower: is it time?
Raymond: yeah let's go.
Jack: it's time.
NARRATION: Ella nods in agreement.
NARRATION: Ella, Sunflower and Raymond goes to the exact same place at the same time.
NARRATION: They all arrived at the same place few minutes different from each other. Immediately
Raymond sees her, he's happy inside cause he has finally confirmed that it's her but pretends not to see
Her.
Sunflower: but dad we've been here before.
Raymond: I want us to start from her today.
Sunflower: ok dad.
Raymond: so we were over there last before we left right?
NARRATION: Ella calls Jack.
NARRATION: Jack picks up.
Jack; what's up.
Ella: yeah, he's the one, I still recognize him even with the disguise.
Jack: good job.
Ella: I think I should go talk to him.
Jack: just follow the plan and come home so we can celebrate.
Ella: ok boss.
Jack: call me babe.
Ella: ok babe.
NARRATION: Raymond talks to himself but Sunflower is focused on something else so she didn't hear him.
Raymond: I saw her around here.
Ella: Ray! Ray!!
NARRATION: Raymond turns back to see who was calling him.
Ella: I knew it was you.
Raymond: Ella?
