Day 25-70 Liang Yu at the Academy Fights Part 3 cutting a few down early.

Matches continued on as normal. But with no fight to be had, Liang Yu went for a walk.

"Can not believe they have the Smelting Area on lockdown still, so no beasts to snatch up further out." Liang Yu grumbled to himself. 'I can not miss out on chances to gain resources like that. Also, a good way for me to obtain lumber and stone for building later.'

Making it to a stall that sold some wine, he couldn't help but buy some. The smell alone causing a funny feeling to erupt in his soul. The memory of what happened last time brought a smile to his face.

*Woom!* A pulse of energy erupted in Liang Yu's soul. An overwhelming pain shot through his body next but was completely withered away by the use of his cultivation techniques. Poisons just didn't stand a chance against him.

"Kuk!" Griping his chest tightly, he moved to the nearest alley. Fumbling for show, he wanted to lure all his pursuers into one area. "Why the hell is this happening now?!" Focusing on Astral Sense to maneuver from any wayward cultivators was the main focus while moving. 'All the ones so far are to weak. Guess I need to move to the outskirts further.'

The further he moved from the town, the more he wondered if they were even going to appear. Still sipping the wine, Liang Yu was getting tired now. Better to go back to buying stuff at this rate.

"Where did he go?" The leader of the group questioned. Not a single scuff or a look of a battle was visible. "TSk! We had one job and this happens. Search the area!" Hopeful that nothing to bad had occurred, they shot off to search.

"There he is!" A man shouted. Approaching with the intent to kill. "I got him!"

*Fwish!* A concentrated beam of fire shot right at the man's heart and engulfed him in flames before his body even dropped. 6 more were fired out hitting the other members of the group. With a swipe of the hand, they were all burned away and tossed into the Flame Vortex for refinement.

"Well, that was just to easy." Liang Yu walked out just fine and looked around. His qi alerted a few to the location but they were all teachers. "Hmm?"

Lin Yi stopped taking a look around with a few other members of the school. Not finding anything, he dismissed the others.

"Shouldn't practice like this in the open. Better to rest for now." Lin Yi was worried. After what he saw during the tournament, a few of the teachers were inclined to make sure he shined even further. "A few are putting their hopes on you."

"Hmm, I won't disappoint I suppose. But make sure the school increases in strength." Liang Yu made sure they were alone. "Do you have anything for me?"

Passing over a few manuals and a pill bottle, Lin Yi waited to see if that was enough. He was in luck as Liang Yu gave him a smile and him piece of Snow Essence full of Flame Vortex Qi.

"This is stronger than what you received before, make sure you cultivate it diligently." Before he could walk to far, Lin Yi suprised by kneeling on the ground. Head pressed firmly to the ground. "What's going on?"

"I wish to take you as my Master completely. I have seen first hand the abilities of yourself and Ye Xinghe. I don't know how you are so strong as well as him but I do not want to be weak anymore." Lin Yi was willing to do whatever it takes. After searching the school archives and finding pieces that hinted to a higher realm beyond the 9th Heavenly Layer he wanted to reach that point. "I am even willing to be your slave if I have to!"

*Woosh!* Weird Qi travelled between the two and the Connection between the two grew so strong, Liang Yu took a few steps back dazed. He could feel the man's very desperation passing through. There was more to this but he would not push just yet to find out.

"I accept." Liang Yu placed his hand on Lin Yi and transferred the further techniques of the Dragon Martial Arts. As well as information about the Celestial Realm. The more polished information and techniques at that. "I have the perfect task for you at that. One that is outside of the Academy of course."

"Thank you." Lin Yi gave him a look of almost devotion. Seeing the powerful qi in Liang Yu's eyes, the man felt a sense of suppression that only came from stronger Dragon Martial Artists. "How.."

"Shh!" Liang Yu smiled as he placed a finger to his lips. "Can't speak to much to soon. Know any places with ambient metals or very large quantities?"

Nodding, he leads the way. Entering rooms that Liang Yu couldn't go into without knocking people out or killing them. Not to mention causing an overall ruckus. Inside was a bunch of discarded weapons and broken artifacts.

"Oh just wow..." Liang Yu was not polite as he swiped all into his flames. Letting a few seconds burn before it was placed into his Flame Fortex for refinement. In seconds, the metal was dripping down into the Metal Seed. "..it will take some time to get ready. You should prepare yourself."

"Hmm?"

"Your Dragon Transformation will be coated in a layer of metal. Trust me when I say it is gonna hurt like hell." A small upgrade to the Metal Seed he dabbled with. It wouldn't go well with himself considering the insanity of his flames but for others, it wouldn't be a problem. "This won't be missed will it?"

"No, everything was slated for destruction years ago. We just never got around to it." Lin Yi shook his head as they left.

Even returning to his housing, Liang Yu kept Astral Sense on the area to make sure it wasn't a trap set by someone else. Everything was clear. But the Dark Moon Family Elders that watched the tourney were waiting outside.

Not the best of plans made waiting for him at his home of all places.

Inviting the Elders inside, Liang Yu thought it was funny these were all members he killed last time. A lot of the unsavory members of the family had come which was not to odd as it made it easier to kill them.

*Scrch!* Liang Yu took hold of one of the safety measures he set up in his home. Using Astral Sense to infuse qi into thin pieces of Metal, it was good for a sneak attack.

"I cannot believe they just wouldn't leave." Liang Jian grumbled. He was alarmingly worried about his cousin. Especially with the bets in place involving him. "If they cause a fuss.."

"Grro!" The Demon Bears were in the other room but moved into the waiting area. Each bear having the might of a 5th Heavenly Realm expert on display. Control was the only thing the beasts lacked, as the Beast Manual tamed them to bring about more intelligence abd naking sure they obeyed the Tamer's orders.

Seeing the Demon Bears that moved about, the Dark Moon Elders were taken back. Since they heard that Liang Yu started taming one, they assumed it was weak. Yet here was an entire group of them that could snap them in half easily if not careful.

"Noting to worry about, this is the Heavenely Star Academy." Liang Yu sat down in his seat looking at the elders. They were caught between wanting to be reserved but also to try and be demanding. But the bears changed that up on them real quick. "How goes everyones training?"

"Gu Kazi and Liang Naveed and his brother Navid advanced the Fire Body technique. They have the habit of using small Flame Shields however during the process. They are just needing higher qi reserves to be effective more."

"That is good." Liang Yu thought about the way to do that and frowned. "It can be done but it will be really troublesome to strengthen the Meridians specifically. I do not have the resources to refine them again at this time."

"Yeah.. none of us wanted to be burned to cinders and hammered down again anyway." Liang Jian gave him a wry look. The willpower needed to go throught the process again was not something any of them had. The benefits were great but they rather go other routes. "Wu Long is really trying to understand Rune making a lot more. Specifically with weapons to give us a leg up."

"Hmm," The Elders finished drinking their tea and mustered up the will to make their demands. "time to start." Liang Yu smilled as the tea had some poison in it as well as Flame Vortex qi inside. Helping to hide the taste with small improvements to the Qi flow of the drinker.

"Liang Yu, you have done really well at the Academy. More than we ever thought." The Elder face turned into a grin knowingly. "These beasts and those with you are much stronger as well. Did you obtain any benefits not reported during the Smelting Trial?"

"It should have been shared with the family afterall." The other elders chimed in.

"Hmm, got some Snow Essence from Xinghe, but nothing much really else." Smiling at the bastards, he understood what they were after. They must have thought he took more from Xinghe who was rumored to have found something to increase his strength in the trial. "Ah, makes it so easy."

"We won't make things difficult for you. Some funds and putting in a good word to the patriarch upon returning." Gesturing to the side, a bag was sitting with some funds inside. Not that much by the sieze of it.

Wu Long picked it up and frowned. Even his shitty rune weapons sold more than this. Seeing him shake his head, the smug elders were starting to get antsy.

If Liang Yu and his few little people would have agreed without a fuss, they wouldn't have to make a move. His cultivation was impressive but they had numbers and they felt bold and a little invincible.

"Enough pretense." One of the men looked at the demon bears un impressed. "They will make good little coats for the coming winter."

The bears gave a snort at him. Undersgtanding of human speech and very close to just swiping and killing the offensive party.

Liang Jian wanted to just get the Heavenly Academy involved but Liang Yu shook his head and stopped him and the others. Smiling as he gestured them to sit back down and not worry about anything.

"So hand it over if you know what we are looking for." The Elder pushed his qi out to be menancing. But the others were having the same trouble he currently was. "What happened!?"

"I can't control my qi!" An elder shouted.

"Its ok.. you are jus the first of the fallen members of Dark Moon." Liang Yu raised his finger up. Getting ready to make a small cutting motion. "Plans will have to speed up. We will move out the day after the tourney ends."

*Schlick!* The sound of a single cut traveled in the room. A thin metal wire dripped blood and was pulled back towards Liang Yu. Wrapping around his wrist as flames engulfed the bodies and stored them away.

"Man, we are really going to rebel so soon." Liang Jian yawned as the outcome was to be expected. "I hope the others are ok."
