Day 21 Night 21

Liang Yu was exhausted even after waking up after getting back. Angered still about the events previously but putting it away for a later time when he is bored. Or just feeling stupid and was tired of living.

To give up his cultivation to become a star cultivator would just be stupid. But if he was needing a completely new identity that would work.

The noise outside made it impossible to get another few winks in of sleep really. Freshening up, he moved outside to see what was going on. Completely forgetting about what should be happening at the camp timewise right now. Afterall it didn't really effect him.

A few students and the traitor teacher were gathered around a hole. An Xueyun pulled Ye Xinghe over to see in a rush. Whispering a few things to him as they moved. The main character halo was strong with them two.

The student Lin Hong oddly enough was know where to be seen at this time. Which was considering memory served he was nearby during the events.

A student near teacher Chu could be heard despite speaking lowly.

"We already sent people to notify the Headmaster, he should be arriving this afternoon." A student said quickly. Hoping this would make the situation a little better.

"This is a serious matter, it's vital that we find the "Murderer," otherwise it will be difficult to locate the perpetrator!" Teacher Chu said. Trying to be righteous but a small wince gave away something else. 'To think he gave me such trouble last night, but the wound should heal fast enough to prevent any other trouble. The plan must not fail!'

He turned seeing Liang Yu looking somewhat haggard. Not knowing it was from the excursion he took a few hours ago. Chalking it up to family feelings. He did his part and wanted to comfort his student.

"Liang Yu, you can rest assured, we'll find who is responsible." He was ignored as Liang Yu went into the hole and picked Liang Jian up by the back supporting him. His hand moving to check his pulse and breath. "He is..."

"He is on the border of death." Liang Yu said grimly. Surprisingly enough he was feeling bad somewhat. But only because of the memories that rose to the surface. Liang Jian was one of the few people that treated the original Liang Yu fairly decent. Before family nonsense got in the way. "Never really had a chance to be your own man. At least I can make this easier for you somewhat."

"I can try to heal him." Ye Xinghe offered. A few looking at him oddly. The fact he offered to help the Dark Moon family depite everything that happened to his family was weird. A lot of gossip was starting to float around about the young man. Mostly due to Lin Hoong's efforts. Liang Yu gave him a slight glare in response. "You don't have to worry about the favor I owe you, this and that are two different things."

"I don't think you can heal these wounds. They look to devastating!" An Xueyun protested. She was worried this level of healing would have adverse affects to him. As well as other matters. 'If he saved Liang Jian, it would just upset whoever was responsible for this. Ye Xinghe should have kept it under wraps that he could heal people.'

"She is right, besides.." Liang Yu walked forward towards his tent. "..I don't want people getting the wrong idea. Considering everything that happened. I will make sure he is comfortable at least." He stopped after thinking it over a little. "The quarrel between my cousin and the commoners is known to everyone really. Any one of them could have had the motive to kill him. I for one do not think you were involved, but that does not mean others won't. Star Martial Artist have all sorts of techniques, after all, be careful brat."

A Dark Moon family member thought this was odd and knew he would be in trouble when getting back to the clan. After all, unlike Liang Jian, he was not a blood member of the family. So the fault of the death can be found with him as a lackey. Which really ticked him off. Not his fault the young master was an idiot.

"It can not end like this." The lackey muttered. The twisted look on his face as he looked around unnerved a few people.

"Hmm?" An Xueyun looked to the student lackey and had a bad feeling. Xia Yuning moved up to her side having come to see the commotion. Before she could talk to her friend, her outburst made her pause. "I was with Ye Xinghe last night. So he was not involved in the matter."

"Aren't you.." The lackey was about to give a rebuttal but Xia Yuning gave him a look to shut his mouth. He turned quiet and thought of other ways to save his life. 'These meddlesome bitches! I am a dead man at this rate!'

Before it could become more troublesome, teacher Chu spoke up.

"Liang Jain most likely was killed in a demonic beast attack!" He was covering his tracks seeing as Liang Yu took away the body and all. Best to sow the idea in their young minds now. Before it was to late anyway. "Do your best to not move alone for now."

"Ah, so a dangerous beat was here!" The Dark Moon lackey jumped on the fastest method to help keep him safe.

"This is quite serious, for all I know we could all be in danger!" Another student said fearfully. As discussions broke out, the student that made the announcement before had returned.

"Hum?" Teacher Chu Xian turned to the student. Already mindful of what he would say. "How come you're back this soon? Did you speak with the headmaster on the way?"

"No... no good!" The student said out of breath. A lot of the students were out of shape despite being a martial artist. Having spent more time using qi for everything instead of their actual body strength. He leaned in and whispered what happened. "and..."

"What!?" Teacher Chu said in a shout. He lifted the student up into the air furious. It was all an act that fooled the students present easily enough. Ye Xinghe and An Xueyun believing everything easily by the looks of it. Only Xia Yuning had a flash of doubt. "So the walkway is.."

"Yes, it's been ruined!" The student grabbed the arm to relieve some of the pressure. Slightly scared the teacher might injure him by mistake. "Let.. me.. go!" He smacked the arm and wiggled more.

"Sorry, I got a bit excitied!" Teacher Chu Xian dropped the student but didn't look sorry and all. He turned to the students looking slightly troubled. "What a mess, things have gotten a little serious. THe protection of the students is now the most important matter!"

"We should find another way out of here!" A student said fearfully.

"Maybe if we get everyone together and build a makeshift bridge someone can hurry up and get help?" Another student said. They all started throwing out ideas and getting rowdier.

"Enough!" Teacher Chu Xian needed to get control of the situation. "Altogether, we have six teachers, so each teacher will be responsible for 5-6 students. Organize into teams yourself!" He let that sink in which went against the idea of keeping everyone safe really. "Our priority is to ensure the students' safety!"

As the students started to break into teams, Liang Yu had made preparations in his tent on other matters. He would be suprised by the idea of someone later that would approach him. Someone had been looking into matters based on rumors.

Liang Yu checked the body of Liang Jian over. The more he examined the more he found himself stumped the boy was still alive. Originally he would be dead already. Placing his hand over the head and heart, he tried to connect with him using Astral Sense.

Inside Liang Jian's mental scape was a mess. Shifting scenes of abuse of all kinds were everywhere. To say he saw stuff, was an understatement. Moving to the Dantian, Liang Yu observed how dim it looked.

"Didn't know he was at the 4th Heavenly Layer.. But man he is really at the end of the line." Liang Yu was about to pull away but a small flux alerted him to something. "Hmm, lighting?!"

*Bzzt!* The lighting circled around the Dantian. Each area it passed over caused it to heal Liang Jian some. As the area darkened more, the Dantian shrunk a little. Reflecting that he dropped down to the 3rd Heavenly Layer.

*BBBZZZTTT!* The lighting had devoured the qi and the cultivation in the process. The wounds healed quicker around the mind as well as throughout the body.

Liang Yu was unaware but the process was speeding up due to him being in the vicinity. As well as him connecting with Liang Jian right now. At this rate, Liang Jian would be out of the critical zone and stable at least.

Liang Yu did not need people thinking he had some miracle haling ability or worse. A treasure that could heal someone from fatal wounds.

"How the heck am I going to explain this?" Liang Yu muttered. Unaware that Liang Jian had enough wits about him to move. Well, his soul did anyway. He floated down to his cousin as he looked at his Dantian. "This lighting feels like my qi, so how did he get it?"

"Your lighting?" Liang Jian asked behind Liang Yu. Almost causing him to jump. He couldn't sense his cousin at all. Which made sense considering the situation. "What is going on?"

"Well... let's see." Liang Yu whipped around trying to think of something quick. But he had know idea of the bat. "How about you tell me what happened to you." As he stopped using Astral Sense, he noticed the damage to Liang Jian was still heavy. 'Stable he may be in a bit, but I doubt he stays at the 3rd Heavenly Layer. He might even drop to the 2nd worst-case scenario.'

As the two conversed under whispers, some people were up to no good once more. Xia Yuning was making her way toward Liang Yu's tent wanting to check with him about something she heard. A cloaked figure was hidden in the woods watching her.

Despite the current situation, plans were still in motion invoving her.

Liang Yu and Liang Jian just finished talking. Oddly enough Liang Jian was able to hold onto the 3rd Heavenly Layer. Having circulated his qi despite his injuries helped the lighting heal him more. But it did not allow him to increase in strength. Every bit of effort was used instead to heal him.

During this time, a few half baked plans were formed up to deal with the coming situation. Liang Jian would be a nice surprise for later. His attacker unknowing that he survived really, would benefit Liang Yu a lot. With the information the two went over, it was easy to lead Liang Jian into believing the teacher is the one that did it.

But the iformation Liang Jian shared about a demonic beast of sorts attacking him as well made the situation change a little. From the information Liang Yu was reminded about Ling Hong and his.. special circumstance. With both of them havig attacking Liang Jian it was quite a mystery.

Liang Jian sat up despite Liang Yu's advice to stay down. Right as Xia Yuning stepped into the tent un-announced at that. A slight panic look on her face. She was aware someone was tailing her a bit.

"You need to learn how to knock." Liang Yu said tersley. His attention more on the person that stalked her from a distant, than on her actually. Astral Sense was going to take some time to get use to. She barely gave iang Jian a once over before staring at Liang Yu. "Well hurry up."

"Humph! Give me a moment!" Xia Yuning said frustrated. She was mostly upset that some one stalked her during everything that was going on. Momentarily distracting her the questions she was putting togethor to ask Liang Yu. "You are the first to talk to me like this."

"Eh I will not be the last considering your erratic menal state at times. Puperty is really dangerous at your age. Considering you are a Dragon Martial Artist.." Liang Yu moved to get some clothes to help disguise Liang Jian. Not minding the angry little dragon girl in the room. Liang Jian wanted to be anywhere but here at the moment. "..you must be an absolute wreck. Not to mention female intrgue over the An bitch and Ye Xinghe boy."

His distate for An Xueyun was quite evident. Considering what happened with them recently, Xia Yuning chalked it up to that what riled him up.
