TGIF 150 A Gift For You

Noelle could not help but chuckle while remembering the past. Without noticing they almost arrive at the foyer.

"Wait a moment. Before we go in, I want you to close your eyes." Kian stops her abruptly then puts both of his palms against Noelle's eyelids.

"Ouhhh-Ok~" Noelle just smiles and tries to contain her excitement. Her heart keeps pumping the oxytocin that was released to her brain and it is exhilarating.

Kian leads Noelle slowly inside the foyer. Kian removes his hands and Noelle's eyes are greeted by an enormous Christmas tree that reaches the ceiling of the second floor which was placed by the stairs.

Noelle has been busy within the building so she does not realize that there is a Christmas tree at the foyer. Below the tree, there is a pile of gifts stacks on top of each other. The servants have made the gifts into twin towers. This has reminded Noelle of Petronas Twin Tower in Kuala Lumpur. She immediately missed the country where she grew up in.

However she held her feelings inside because she needs to be happy now. She must not make Kian feel bad since he has spent a lot of time preparing for this surprise. Noelle gives Kian a hug and kiss as an act of gratitude.

"This is like an early Christmas for me. I really love this." she says while smiling from ear to ear.

"May I open all of it now?" she asks Kian while making her eyes rounder and blinking it so that it will appear cute. Noelle is so proud of this expression that she frequently uses it to get whatever she wants from someone. Most of the time it works except for her friends and Mama. They are really good at saying 'No' to Noelle.

"Sure. I hope you will love every single one of it." he says and pushes Noelle's shoulder gently towards the Christmas tree.

"Yay!! I will open the biggest one first." she says. The biggest one contains all the handmade ornaments. Noelle could not stop staring at the wooden carved angels. The woodworking is amazing that something so simple can be so dazzling. Normally, Noelle would choose something more sparkly however she did not know today that she would fall in love with the wooden angel. Noelle could not praise the angel and wished to have her own Christmas tree in her building so that she could decorate it the soonest. Her servants immediately leave the foyer and inform the management to put an empty Christmas tree in Noelle's building.

"Kian, what is this thing?" Noelle holding something that looks like a tiny person.

"It is a Prune People. The people there believe that it will bring good luck to the recipient. I think that you will need it for your upcoming banquet." Kian explains with full enthusiasm.

"Awhhh~ That is so sweet of you." Noelle swore that she could bite Kian at that time. He looks so cute like a puppy waiting for praise. What is going to do with this man that is constantly trying to make her happy? I wonder if she has let man in her life earlier then she will get to feel this way earlier in her life.

However, she is grateful that Kian is here at the right time. This has made Noelle happier now as Christmas will be more bearable since she only has her grandpa left in this world. Her heart fluttered as she saw something with heart shape within one of the boxes that she opened. Kian has no chill in expressing his love to Noelle. This is what makes Noelle love him more.

Noelle could not bother with love back then since most relationships are exhausting as people tend to play it like a game. You could not say 'love' too early to each other. You need to hold back otherwise your heart will get broken by the other partner. Noelle rather stays single and does a couple of one night stands compared to staying in a complicated relationship.

Noelle takes a deep look at Kian and she really loves how Kian never needs to hide what he feels. This also has made Noelle want to show her true self instead of putting on a mask so that she will be a perfect girl.

"Kian~ I am grateful that God has brought you over like a Christmas present for me." she said while putting her forehead on Kian's chest. His heart beat is really pleasing to the ear. Noelle reckoned that Kian's heart is bursting since she can hear it without putting her ear close to the chest. Kian hugged Noelle tightly without hurting her before saying, "Me too."

"Noelle." Grandpa's voice gives Noelle a shock. Her reflex is to jump out from Kian's embrace and cough.

"Hehehe.. Grandpa." she says shyly.

"What are you guys doing in the foyer?" grandpa asked further.

"Kian just came back from Germany and brought me some presents." Noelle says while smiling happily.

"I see. Let's have dinner first then. Kian must be exhausted from the journey." grandpa says while patting Noelle's head.
