Dao Breaching Divinity

Tian Wudi, the self-proclaimed prophet with a golden glowing hand that exudes divine presence, was preparing for the biggest sermon of his life in London. He was all set to spread his message and the love of God to the world when a bolt of lightning struck him on a clear and sunny day. Talk about a shocking turn of events! As he opened his eyes, he realized that he had been transmigrated to another world. But what was even more shocking than the lightning strike was the revelation that his golden hand was nothing more than a mere dao bone, and he was no god after all! To add insult to injury, the "divine presence" he had felt was just Qi - a simple energy force that he and others had mistakenly taken for something more profound. Feeling like a complete fool, Tian Wudi decided to leave his old life and beliefs behind and embark on a journey of self-discovery in this new world. As he explored this strange and exciting land, he couldn't help but laugh at his own naivety. Who knew that getting struck by lightning could be such a humbling experience?

Chapter 15: Heaven Shattering Fist!

Wudi finished rummaging through his items and had a slight smile on his face. He had been able to recover his Qi and, most importantly, had given random directions to Jiang Feng. However, Wudi knew that Elder Yang would soon realize something was wrong. So, he had to make his move and get out of the area soon.

Dropping his smile, Wudi stared at Jiang Feng, contemplating whether he should attack or run. While he didn't think he could kill Jiang Feng, he figured he might be able to injure him enough to prevent his pursuit. The area was covered with trees, with only the middle area, where Jiang Feng was sitting, looking somewhat like a camping spot without trees.

Wudi noticed a very large dead tree with a hollow hole big enough to fit a fully grown man. The tree was leaning on another tree just above Jiang Feng's head. Staring at the tree, Wudi thought, "If I make large movements, I'll likely expose myself, but I can probably remain undetected if I move slow enough." Coming to a decision, Wudi slowly made his way to the tree and stuffed his body into the hollow spot.

Wudi forcibly wedged himself in tight, putting his feet in a position where he could cause a lot of momentum and bent his knees. Using one hand to hold himself in place, he calculated where Jiang Feng was located. Wudi put his other palm on the tree between his shoulder and waist, channeling his qi. He then channeled it into his palm and did a shove into the tree, like a wave traveling from his feet to his palm and then into the tree.

Jiang Feng was sitting below, looking around cautiously and thinking, "Elder Yang doesn't seem to have found anything. Something feels off." Suddenly, Jiang Feng stood and looked up to see a branch break, and a loose tree that was being held by the branch was falling toward him.

Not feeling much danger from a rotten tree, Jiang Feng started to step to the side, but before he could, something burst through the tree right towards him. Wudi, with a mocking smile on his face, stared at Jiang Feng as he flew through the air with a fist going towards Jiang Feng's face. Jiang Feng was shocked but reached his hand out to catch Wudi's fist because it was too late to avoid the collision.

Wudi had actually used a feint, as his other fist that actually contained all his power came forward, aimed for Jiang Feng's stomach. Jiang Feng panicked, lost his balance, and the fist landed on his abdomen as he slammed into the ground. Wood chips from the tree were landing all around the two as Wudi was punching Jiang Feng.

Hitting the ground hard and feeling his internal organs rupturing, Jiang Feng sent a kick from below Wudi into his abdomen. Wudi's hand was up after his fist connected as Jiang Feng had let go, and Wudi received the kick with his palm but was still shoved through the air. Jiang Feng's face was hideous as it contorted in pain. Jiang Feng flipped over and began puking blood on the ground while at the same time secretly crushing a talisman.

Wudi laughed as he caught the action of Jiang Feng crushing the talisman and felt unconcerned because Elder Yang would not be able to make it back in time. Jiang Feng stood up unsteadily, glaring at Wudi with extreme hatred. Blood was still dripping from his mouth, and he said in an almost growling voice, "Wudi!"

Wudi had an imperious look and seemed to be looking down on Jiang Feng. "Brother Jiang, you should be more careful in the future. That's if you have a future," he said mockingly. Jiang Feng looked at Wudi with a serious expression as he realized that he could actually lose if they fought. Jiang Feng still believed he had a good chance if he went all out, but he hoped to avoid that scenario.

Jiang Feng looked at Wudi and said, "Elder Yang will be back soon, so you should run now if you want a chance at life." Wudi laughed and replied, "No need to goad me. I know how far Elder Yang is, and I don't expect him to be back for a while." Jiang Feng said, "Fine, then to death then." He reached for his sword but came to a sudden stop as he looked at Wudi with anguish.

Wudi looked at Jiang Feng mockingly and said, "Looking for this?" He was waving Jiang Feng's sword in an exaggerated manner. Jiang Feng gritted his teeth and bent his knees, throwing back his fist as if he was about to perform an ultimate move, and yelled, "Heaven-shattering fist!" Wudi put up his guard, actually having a serious face as Jiang Feng had put a lot of formless pressure on Wudi with his superior cultivation.

Jiang Feng looked serious as he exuded a strong pressure, appearing as if he would pounce forward with his fist launching out. However, when his legs went straight, he shockingly shot backward with his fist he had accumulated, causing his momentum to rotate. He spun around and started running. Wudi was shocked but soon smiled, thinking that Jiang Feng must have taken lessons from his brother. Jiang Feng had even made up a bogus technique name to scare Wudi. Wudi didn't wait long and soon chased after Jiang Feng.

Wudi didn't have the proper cultivation in the past to use his family's Descending Steps, which was a powerful movement technique exclusive to the imperial family. Still, having looked at the manual and now being strong enough, he could use the technique since breaking through. He hadn't had much time to practice it, but he felt it was rather natural while performing it and was slowly gaining on Jiang Feng. Wudi maintained a distance from Jiang Feng hoping to wear him down before finishing him off. Additionally, Jiang Feng was going the opposite direction of where Elder Yang had originally gone.

Wudi suddenly had an idea and circulated his intent and began to become invisible. He hoped that Jiang Feng wouldn't be able to detect him properly while rushing, and he'd likely be more focused on his wounds than anything else. Jiang Feng was running wildly before he suddenly came to a stop with a look of elation. A scream traveled through the forest as "Wudi you bastard, come back here now!" Jiang Feng thought "I must have lost him" and turned so he could head toward Elder Yang as he felt that Wudi would have run as soon as he heard Elder Yang. But it was at this sudden moment that Jiang Feng screamed, but no sound came out, as his view had suddenly shifted to his headless body as his head rolled through the air.

Wudi, in the sudden moment that Elder Yang yelled and Jiang Feng came to a stop and turned, made his move, pushing his movement technique to the limit. He shot out from nearby trees and sliced Jiang Feng's head off with his own sword. Wudi swiped the bag on Jiang Feng's body before it even hit the ground and didn't stop moving in this whole process, darting off through the trees while still running. Wudi was sweating profusely because Elder Yang was much faster than himself, and Wudi had to move at his greatest speed possible to keep the distance from shortening too much.

Elder Yang was in hot pursuit of Wudi, running as quickly as he could. In fact, he had arrived much earlier than Wudi had anticipated, having realized something wasn't right on the last two occasions when he received locations from Jiang Feng. Unfortunately, he was still too late to save Jiang Feng, who had already been killed by Wudi's swift actions.

Sorry, my dear readers. I have been very busy with my job and was recently required to work sixty hours for the past few weeks, and I am still doing so. However, I plan to start releasing more content as I acclimate to the new hours.
