Chapter 2: Orario

As Michael emerged into the world of Orario, he found himself standing amidst the rugged landscape of the Beol Mountains, a vast expanse of wilderness stretching north of the bustling city. With the power of his newfound system coursing through his veins, he wasted no time in familiarizing himself with its capabilities.

With a thought, Michael activated the system, its interface materializing before him like a holographic display. He toggled through the various options, experimenting with its features until he felt confident in his mastery over it.

Turning his attention to the magnificent silver wolf beside him, Michael smiled. "Moony," he said, bestowing a name upon his loyal companion. "Let's ride."

With Moony by his side, Michael embarked on his journey towards Orario. Along the way, he encountered various threats lurking in the wilderness – goblins, kobolds, bugbears, and even a bloodsaurus. With a combination of his own skills and Moony's formidable strength, they dispatched each foe with ease, their bond growing stronger with every battle.

Eventually, they reached the gates of Orario, where the Ganesha Familia stood guard. With the gold he had acquired from the system, Michael secured passage for himself and Moony, gaining entrance to the city without incident.

Their first stop was the guild, where they encountered Rose Fannett, a bright and cheerful presence amidst the bustling atmosphere. Michael wasted no time in getting his paperwork in order, expressing his desire to join a familia, particularly the Hephaestus Familia due to his proficiency as a crafter.

Inside the guild, Michael was introduced to Hephaestus herself, as well as a Level 3 adventurer named Tsubaki Collbrande. Their surprise at the sight of Moony, coupled with Michael's unconventional background, sparked a conversation about his skills and experiences.

Michael showcased his creations – a netherite pickaxe enchanted with efficiency, fortune, silk touch, and unbreaking, along with potions of regeneration and decay. Hephaestus and Tsubaki were impressed by his craftsmanship, though intrigued by his lack of familial affiliation.

their meeting was soon interrupted by the sudden arrival of Royman Mardeel, the head of the guild, who launched into a tirade of accusations and threats. Unfazed, Michael responded with a wave of bloodlust, asserting his dominance in the face of Royman's aggression.

Just as tensions reached a boiling point, a cloaked figure intervened – Fels, an enigmatic presence with a calming aura. With a few words, Fels defused the situation, chastising Royman for his behavior and promising to report the incident to Ouranos, the head of the gods.

With Royman cowed into submission, Michael turned to Fels, seeking permission to leave. Fels granted his request, and Michael departed the guild with Tsubaki in tow, the weight of their encounter still lingering in the air.

As they walked through the streets of Orario, Tsubaki couldn't help but ask about the overwhelming power Michael had displayed. He explained the concept of killing intent, a manifestation of one's resolve and strength in combat.

With Tsubaki's nerves settled, Michael requested her guidance to the Hephaestus Familia headquarters, eager to settle into his new life in Orario and forge ahead on his path of adventure and discovery.
