Serious Series: The Palms

The crazy excited smile on Noah only grew as he dashed to face this strong opponent.

Tower warned.

He ignored it, why would he use something that can decimate Rank 9 and possibly Rank 8 Master against a trainee or even a Squire? That would be no fun.

"Ha has gotten stronger!" Moon Wrath mumbled.

"Yeah. He is a fast learner, who absorbs people's technique and defends against them!" Tornado Twist said.

"We need to make him the forerunner if we want a good opening. He always has this zeal to win the first fight. If he can do that in the Collective Tournament, that will be good and give us time to see our combatants' techniques and strategize against them" Red Wolf said.

"That is a bad idea. We need him when shit goes south. Water Rise or Stinking Ball should go first. We should use them before their ego is crushed" Moon Wrath said.

BRas³"That is if they passed this tournament! What about Tender" Red Wolf asked.

Group A members were apprehensive about him. Not only was he the new Gaggard cub but also his style was for the circus. The use of slaps against the enemy was high and mighty against weaker opponents that have inferior muscles but against boulders or well-trained beasts like Roaring Beast, that technique was useless.

"If he wins against Roaring Beast then we can take him seriously!" Moon Wrath said and then added, "because he has a better body to tank that humiliating palm strikes. Can you imagine Master Gaggard bribing me to let someone else fight him? He didn't know I already rejected the fight but I just pretended to agree with him and I collected his honey!" 

"Tender is getting serious. I don't think we should underestimate him. Look at his eyes, he looked excited and had that crazy smile. It doesn't look like someone we should neglect just because our handlers said so. They said it because they disregard Gaggard but Tender is a Monster in Sheep's Clothing!" Silver Wolf said. 

He was the leader of Group A and arguably the most powerful of them. And for good reason.

The thing was they were all kids that range from age 13 to 18. Most of them only know how to train and build up fighting experience. While their backers or handlers feed them information on things they want them to focus on.

For example, when Water Rise was rising he was fed the idea that he has great potential and can reach the top with ease. And then his handler went around and asked Fury Fist and the other fighters' handlers to make their fighters lose.

That boosted Water Rise's ego and confidence who was just an oversize 15-year-old kid . as believes he was good but also trained harder till he reached Group A top 10.

So, Noah's feats weren't seen as something great by the top fighters because they believe that they can tank the slaps with so much ease. As for weaker opponents, they dread the idea of facing Noah because they don't have that tank and speed that would make them have a good chance against him.

However, the moment Silver Wolf, the person that mastered numerous techniques that he can change at will in a fight, he also has crazy durability and insane bone strength, not to mention his fucking intuitions that scared the shit out of even the handler, they became serious and watch Noah as he clashed with one of the strongest rising fighters among them.

One that said in a few months can match Silver Moon himself and surpass him, possibly.

Around Roaring Beast were two craters, those are made when he punched and cracked the floor a little but missed Noah by small margins.

That was the sound of a fist punching the air, it was so strong that it made a sound but also miss its target as the nimble body of Noah was so dubious to be caught in that deadly attack but once it connect, Noah put his as a defender, balloon technique that will lead him to be thrown out of the ring.

"Tender was fast but Roaring Beast is not using any technique. He is just punching super strong with little speed!" Moon Wrath said.

"Yes, because they are just playing around. This is testing the waters. But strength came with speed and speed came with strength. Roaring Beast is just focusing on strength but there was the speed in his punches!" Silver Wolf explained.

As he said that Noah dived below Roaring Beast intending to tackle him upward but the Beast was too planted on the ground and he punched down to crush the enemy's head, he did it in a way Noah will not suddenly stand and smashed his jaw as he did with Gentle Mane.

"You see that. That was defence with an attack. If Beast didn't punch that way, Tender could do him dirty like Gentle Man. And… look Tender frowned, he was aiming for the jaw!" Silver Wolf let out.

And, yes. He was right. Noah was aiming for that but failed. Noah jumped back as he stood erect in the Recovery Stance. Roaring Beast too stood and watched his opponent 

'I was right not to underestimate him. His slap might seem tender but they are a real deal. He took down Water Rise by slapping in one place repeatedly until the place was injured. I won't allow that!' Roaring Beast thought.

'Smart. No wonder he watched all my fights and went around asking about me from Elya. His ability to plan and avoid past mistakes was great.' Noah thought, 'There was no single slap move I did in previous fights that he didn't count me now. And he is not allowing me to slap one part of his body several times in a row! He is avoiding the Water Rise situation!' Noah thought.

"Haha. You are good!" Noah said as he bounced up and down. His mind went into overdrive trying to come up with ways to go about taking down the dude without going overboard.

"Serious Series: The Palms!" Noah muttered.
