The Soul-Testing Machine...

As she walked in the testing-room, a machine was placed in a corner, with couple on instructions written on it, they wrote:

"As you walk in, so shall you see,

This stands to search your soul within;

As its your first time, you should know,

This would cause you hallucination due to the energy flow;

Don't panic and don't flare,

It's affects gone, after a day's care;

You may go through many experiences,

But that's a neccessity for all the changes;

Walk in and think, of everything you miss;

The test will start when you seem in it."

Daisy went in the machine and sat on the chair, thinking of the people she missed, mom, dad, Rachael, even her annoying deskmate Max. The sorrow of being apart from them, finally seemed to have crept in. She had been busy enough all the while, to keep her emotions off, but now she was unable to hold it. She was agitated, when the gate of her machine opened. It was Ethan.

"There's been a fight outside. Get out fast."

Daisy got down just to see Robert's parents and her own against each other. Her father held Remington Model 700 bolt- action centerfire rifle, while her mother had a M-12 pump action shortgun, while Robert's parents had already formed the burning matrix. Mom shot the gun as a threat and shouted,"Where's my Daughter?"

A little girl attacked Daisy parents, but she managed to block it. Slowly, she saw almost everybody going against them, even Robert. Even after a number of fights, not even a single person seemed ready to listen. Just when she was about to break-down from the exhaustion, when the machine beeped, making her realize it was all a dream. She got out of the machine, and saw the result, level-twelve soul. She jumped in happiness, when the door was knocked and Ethan rushed in.
