I thought of closing this diary but when two other funny authors wrote in the comment section, my excitement sparked and decided to continue.
Last week, I finished my second story 'The Recipe of Love' and went to my 'Destined Gatekeeper' to notify my readers that I will continue the book. Yet, until now I'm still stuck rereading my plot.
Ugh, this story was a dream story for me but putting things all together was quite a tedious task. I needed to refocus or lose my passion. I set it aside and started checking my other stories. However, when I opened webnovel, I saw more CEO stories under recommended.
"Oh, good for you TheBlips, good for you AJZHEN, including lady_liah. Your stories are all in recommended while my stories are long forgotten. Waaah!" I cried to myself while I sat on my bed. "Do I need to write a CEO story so that people will flock on my stories?" I felt a bit down. Nonetheless, I love my stories so much, so I won't give up on them.
Then I went to the forum and a poor guy voiced out that WN became like WP. (You know what they mean.) He blurted that CEO stories invaded the reading platform and felt ashamed of it. My mouth quirked up and said, "poor fella. Female readers just love those dream-like state of having a CEO falling in love with them. What could be done with it? Nothing.
I smiled looking at those popular CEO stories written by my author friends in Inkstone's discord.
"It's your turn now... I hope it's my turn later," I lamented. I brushed the depressing thought. Then I raised my hand and shouted with enthusiasm, "I'm proud of you, girls! Keep up the good work."
Was all I've written true? Well, it's up to the readers to decide. I love you readers of mine.
