Need More Time

It didn't feel like it was getting late, Kylie, Edward, and Axelle looked engrossed in their conversation about Jenni until a knock on Kylie's bedroom door rang.

"Ah, looks like they're done," said Kylie, who quickly stood up to open the door that she believed her husband had been waiting for because the young man had not brought the key to their room before.

A smile that Kylie gave to Michael, Jenni, and Daniel in front of her.

Then what about Carl and Jack?

Jack, of course, had left first, before the four of them finished their serious conversation, while Carl after finished talking with Michael, Jenni, and also Daniel then Carl went straight to his room to rest.

"Are your problems solved?" asked Kylie without the slightest preamble with her eyes gazing at Daniel and Jenni.

Jenni blushed a little at the question from her sister-in-law to her. Because she already considers Kylie to be her sister too, of course she feels a little embarrassed to find questions that are directly asked to her without further ado.

For a moment Daniel stared at Jenni, and after that the young man took over first, leaning towards Kylie, slightly whispering in Kylie's ear.

"One problem is solved, but the second problem is not yet, will you help me get Jenni to really accept me?" said Daniel casually.

Spontaneously, the figures of brothers who were not bloody stared in surprise at Daniel and Kylie.

"Hey! You do not tease my wife!" Michael screamed excitedly pulling Kylie closer to him, while Jenni reflexively grabbed Daniel's hand.

It seemed that Daniel wanted to laugh with satisfaction seeing the quick reaction given by Jenni and Michael. Isn't it obvious that this pair of brothers and sisters who are not blood-related looks equally jealous with high prestige?

Not much different from Daniel, Kylie also tried to hold back her smile seeing her husband's behavior, which from her point of view looked childish.

Is Michael not aware of his current age? Especially if He remembers that his child is already two years old. Shouldn't that young man be much more mature than before?

"You seemed jealous of me Jen?" Daniel teased on purpose to Jenni.

Jenni was silent and chose to let go of Daniel's hand while stepping on her feet to change her position next to Michael.

"Bro, can you accompany me to pick up my son?"

Michael, who understood that he and Jenni's position was almost the same, of course immediately nodded his head and accompanied the girl to his room. He was very sure that the two little kids in their family were fast asleep.

"They're all the same," Kylie giggled at Daniel, to which he nodded his head.

Both Kylie and Daniel of course have forgotten the small misunderstanding that used to occur between the two, after all, both of them now have the figure they love in their respective hearts, which until now has not changed at all.

If Daniel always has Jenni's love hidden in his heart, so does Kylie who always keeps Michael's sincere love in her heart.

Michael and Jenni who had moved away from Daniel and Kylie's position looked the same and smiled with a little chuckle realizing that both of them were the same for a split minute blinded by their respective feelings.

"I think you really still love Daniel," Michael said casually.

Jenni's nodding head firmly gave Michael. She didn't feel awkward saying things that were actually sensitive for her, because after all, Michael's figure was the most important to her since her mother left her forever.

"I also believe that you really love Kylie," Jenni replied, reversing Michael's sentence.

"You're right, and there's no denying it, since I met her my life has been colorful, that's why I also have a beautiful baby."

'Ah, Michael's right, so am I.' Jenni's monologue agreed with Michael's words in her heart.

"Are you happy as long as you stay away from me and the others?" asked Michael, this time out of the context of their previous conversation.

Jenni was silent for a few seconds and then after that, she took a deep breath, and exhaled at a time, as if she did that on purpose.

"Not really, it's just that I'm grateful, my son and also my two best friends are always there for me so I can still feel a small amount of happiness when compared to when I was in college there."

Michael stopped his footsteps and looked closely at Jenni's face. He knew what the girl beside him was thinking and feeling.

Jenni's struggle will not be easy. Many obstacles that she must have gone through so far so that she can become the person she is today, where the girl can be considered successful with her abilities and has also succeeded in guiding her son who has been without a father to become a child who is smart and mature at his age.

Michael, who couldn't bear to look at Jenni, who seemed to want to say when she fell but couldn't express it, immediately hugged the girl.

"You can be happy now Jen, and love yourself before you love another man who will fill your day," said Michael who still took the time to advise his sister.

Jenni who was in Michael's arms could only nod her head.

The sobs that previously couldn't come out of her lips are now slowly starting to come out without her controlling them.

Jenni spilled her feelings on Michael just like that. All this time she thought she could be strong enough to stand on her own feet regardless of her feelings, only when she was finally confronted with a figure she considered like her own brother, of course, Jenni couldn't lie to forget all that!

"You're still my little sister Jen, so don't ever do the silly things you've done the last four years, I will always support you whatever your decision," said Michael.

Without both of them realizing it, Kylie, Daniel, Edward, and Axelle also seemed to witness Jenni and Michael's interaction.

"You have to wait, Niel, don't be in a hurry, Jenni needs time," Kylie said in a low tone which was immediately greeted with a nod of the head from Edward and Axelle.

"I know ... I really have to wait patiently for her until she really accepts me as a whole."
