Jaden & Lily

From a distance, the little boy suddenly ran up to the little girl who was holding the ice cream in her right hand.

"Lily," said the little boy with a smile that was visible on his face that looked handsome with his father.

Lily who found someone calling her of course reflexively turned her head to look at the boy.

"Ja...-Jaden?" Lily whispered shyly looking at Jaden who was now in front of her.

Jaden gave a smile and immediately hugged the little girl. I don't know, Jaden is too happy to see his friends who are almost his age, not the same as before when he only met adults.

"You alone?" Jaden asked.

Lily shook her head slowly.

Jaden glanced around. Because only Lily and herself were there, no one else.

Lily who saw Jaden confused looking for another, spontaneously turned her head towards the back of her.

"Mommy? Daddy?" Lily whispered suddenly who had just realized that her parents were not behind her.

'Why doesn't Lily seem to notice that Uncle Michael and Aunt Kylie are behind her?'

Realizing this, Jaden immediately grabbed Lily's hand. He didn't want her to be sad when she realized that her parents weren't behind her.

"That's okay, I'm here, we can look for them, Lily," said Jaden who suddenly grew up when he was next to Lily, who was one year below him.

"Is that true?" Lily asked with her eyes that had glazed over,

Jaden quickly nodded his head, and like an older brother Jaden immediately led the way with Lily holding each other's hands and the other hand holding the ice cream that had been in her hand.

"Eat your ice cream first, otherwise it will melt," Jaden said with his charisma.

Jaden really positioned himself as an older brother to Lily.

Lily who believed in Jaden was busy nodding her head while starting to eat her ice cream.

"Would you like to sit there first?" Jaden asked giving a choice to Lily, to which Lily quickly replied with a nod of her head.

Without hesitation and thinking that they would be lost, Jaden and Lily just relaxed on the bench that Jaden pointed out earlier.

Several times Jaden was busy looking at Lily who was devouring the ice cream in her hand.

"You want?" asked Lily who wanted to share with Jaden. Honestly, the little boy was really interested in the ice cream in Lily's hands, it's just that for some reason he put the little girl first to finish it.

Indeed he had considered himself like a man who was protecting his woman.

Lily nodded her head cutely and resumed eating the small size ice cream in her hand.

If previously Lily seemed worried that no one was around her, now not anymore, because she believes that Jaden will stay with her and protect her, even though Jaden is just a little boy in terms of age, but Lily believes that Jaden can be relied on.

It took almost ten minutes for Lily to finish the ice cream that was in her hand, and that meant ten minutes too which meant they were not accompanied by adults who for some reason didn't notice their existence.

After the little girl finished her ice cream, Jaden took out his small handkerchief and helped clean the ice cream liquid that was messing up on Lily's mouth and hands.

"Let's go, let's find your parents," said Jaden casually, and the little girl only nodded her head in return.

Only a few shops away from where he stands, the figures of Kylie and Michael are seen busy looking for their little daughter's whereabouts.

"Uncle Michael," Jaden shouted loud enough to call out to Michael.

Michael spontaneously looked for the person who called his name.

"Jaden, Lily!" shouted Michael who immediately approached the two.

"Ah, dear Lily, we were looking for you," Michael whispered, looking relieved to find his daughter who was in fact with Jaden.

They were grateful to find Lily who didn't cry at all.

"Was it Jaden accompanying Lily?" asked Kylie who had also crouched down to match her height with Jaden and Lily.

Jaden gave a quick nod of course to Kylie because it was true that Jaden had accompanied Lily.

"Woah, you're amazing, where are your parents Jaden?"

Jaden shrugged his shoulders lightly, he accidentally separated from his parents after he saw Lily earlier.

"Honey, you should call Daniel, he must be looking for Jaden just like we were looking for Lily," Michael said to his wife.

Without further ado, Kylie immediately contacted Daniel, as Michael had previously been told.

Sure , Daniel sounded grateful for the information given to him.

"Lily are you okay?" Michael asked to confirm his daughter.

Lily nodded her head slowly and said that Jaden had promised her to deliver her to Michael as well as Kylie so she wouldn't have to worry.

"You are very smart, fortunately, you managed to find us," said Michael who was quite amazed by Jaden's attitude as if protecting his daughter.

"Thanks, Jaden for protecting Lily," Michael said to Jaden, who replied with a nod and a sincere smile from Jaden.

"Jaden!" screamed Jenni who immediately ran to her only son.

"Mommy!" squealed little Jaden.

Without warning, Jenni immediately gave her son a sincere hug.

"Why did you suddenly run so fast that Mommy and Daddy lost you?"

Jaden quickly explained that he had found Lily busy with ice cream herself, and without thinking the two of them ended up on a bench not far from the first time Jaden had found Lily.

"I thank your son, who has grown up to accompany Lily, I don't know what it would be like if Lily was alone, even after they were alone without adults they both didn't cry at all," Michael said in response to Jaden's words.

Inevitably Daniel and Jenni could not scold Jaden, but both gave a small compliment to Jaden who had dared to make a decision at the age of three.

"Lily, say thank you to Jaden," said Kylie, who had hugged her daughter.

"Thanks, Jaden," Lily said, slightly embarrassed.

Jaden gave a smile and nodded his head in response to Lily's words which the little boy thought were cute.

"I didn't expect your son to be so mature."

"I didn't expect either, Mike."
