During a simulation battle, the protagonist managed to defeat the ace pilot of the Super GUTS team, Mei Zunliang. However, he soon encountered a cosmic entity known as the Sphere. Despite fighting with all his might, he was overwhelmed by the sheer numbers. In that moment, he saw a mysterious light and suddenly became the human host for Ultraman Dyna.

"Dad! Does this mean that Flyboy just turned into Ultraman?"

Although there wasn't any stone statue involved, he saw the light, and in his mind, where there's light, there's Ultraman!

"Yeah, pretty much," Liu Lei nodded in agreement.

But inside, he was a bit confused.

Isn't this supposed to follow the Ultraman Tiga world? Tiga was a warrior from ancient times who was revived through a stone statue. Shouldn't this be the same?

His questions would have to wait, as the story continued.

On Mars, the Sphere reappeared and merged with rock formations to form a monster called Darambia, which began to destroy the human base on Mars. The Super GUTS team fought back, trying to stop the monster's rampage.

Just as they were discussing the crab-like monster, Ultraman Dyna appeared!

"Dyna is so awesome, so strong!"

When Dyna made his entrance, Little Chubby stood up on the couch, bouncing with excitement.

Just the light from Dyna's transformation was enough to defeat the monster Darambia and destroy the Sphere entities effortlessly.

"Dad, I want to buy an Ultraman transformation device!"

Little Chubby turned to his dad with pleading eyes.

Liu Lei's face immediately fell.

An Ultraman transformation device... those things are expensive!

He recalled the price of the Ultraman Tiga transformation device he bought earlier and winced. His family was just a normal working-class one. Spending hundreds of yuan on a toy wasn't easy.

"Look out, Dyna!"

Before Liu Lei could refuse, Little Chubby's urgent shouting brought his attention back to the screen.

The remains of the defeated monster were reforming into another, bigger creature while Dyna was unaware!

This time, the monster wasn't a three-legged crab-like creature anymore. It had arms, legs, a horned head, spikes on its back, and walked on two feet. It even managed to bind and overpower Dyna!

Little Chubby was practically jumping in worry.

Luckily, Ultraman always manages a comeback. After a tough battle, Dyna found an opening and struck back. With a signature Ultraman pose, he unleashed a powerful energy beam and defeated the monster, looking incredibly cool.

Little Chubby mimicked Ultraman's iconic L-shaped arm pose, shouting, "Pew, pew, pew!"

Liu Lei played along, pretending to fall backward and saying, "Ah, I'm defeated!"

"Hahaha!"

The two of them laughed together in harmony.

Then, a second monster appeared.

This time, it was a combination of the remaining Sphere entity and magma from a volcano near the TPC Thermal Energy Base, creating a hybrid creature known as a Sphere Synth-Beast.

"Does this mean all the monsters from now on will be made from the Sphere combining with different materials on Earth?" Liu Lei wondered, predicting the future of the series.

He even speculated, what if the Sphere combined with living beings instead of inanimate objects?

The thought sent a thrill through him.

Meanwhile, Little Chubby continued to cheer as the new monster, Granrain, was temporarily held back by the GUTS training team.

TPC was buying time, waiting for Dyna to arrive. In the ensuing fight, the monster burned Dyna's hands with red-hot energy from its abdomen and kept attacking with fiery breath.

Just when it seemed like the monster would destroy the base, Dyna shifted into his Miracle Form and turned the tide. Using his telekinesis, he suspended Granrain upside down in the air.

Finally, when Granrain shot flames, Dyna absorbed the attack and reflected it back with his Lipomerium Ray, causing the monster to explode.

"Yay! Dyna won!"

Little Chubby breathed a sigh of relief as his worries melted away.

But then, an ominous cough echoed through the room, sending shivers down the spines of both father and son.

Liu Lei turned stiffly, only to find his wife standing behind them, arms crossed, her expression icy.

His smile turned awkward, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

He mentally cursed himself for losing track of time!

And, worst of all, he had gotten so absorbed in the show that he forgot to move his secret stash of money to a safer place!

"Liu Lei... Weren't you supposed to be supervising our son's homework? And Little Chubby, didn't you promise Mom that you'd study hard today?"

Liu Lei's wife asked, her voice chilly.

Little Chubby, ever the sly one, immediately saw an opportunity to escape trouble by selling out his dad. He put on a pitiful face and said, "It's not my fault! Dad made me watch!"

Liu Lei turned to his son in disbelief.

How could this little rascal be so shameless!

"Why would I force you to watch Ultraman?"

Liu Lei found a way to turn this around, pointing out a flaw in his son's story that could disprove his accusation.

"Because I found out where you hide your secret stash, so you tried to bribe me!"

Little Chubby said, standing confidently with his hands on his hips.

"Secret stash?"

His wife's eyes shot daggers at Liu Lei.

Under normal circumstances, she might not have believed Little Chubby. But now, with the mention of a hidden stash, her thoughts were consumed by it. Things were about to get ugly.

"Sweetheart, wait, let me explain..."

Liu Lei's forehead broke out in cold sweat as he tried to explain. But before he could finish, his wife twisted his ear sharply.

"Oh, so you've been hiding money, huh?"

"Ow, ow! I'm sorry! I was wrong!"

"Let's go! You're going to show me exactly where you've hidden it!"

Their voices faded as they left the room.

Little Chubby, meanwhile, patted his chest in relief. "Phew, I dodged a bullet this time. Thank you, Ultraman, for saving me!"

With that, he turned off the TV and quickly ran back to his room to start his homework.
