Hashirama: Ha

With Kamen Rider Amazons airing, the latest episode of Naruto was also released, continuing from the previous cliffhanger.

In the previous episode, Obito was defeated.

At that time, Obito had already activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi, causing the roots of the God Tree to spread wildly, absorbing the chakra of all the ninjas it touched. It seemed like everything was going in Obito's favor.

In this version of the story, which Ren had altered from the original, Obito wasn't easily swayed by Naruto's words of persuasion. Unlike in the original series, where Obito was convinced to use the Rinne Rebirth, his resolve here remained firm.

After losing Rin and his grandmother and wandering the ninja world for so many years, Obito's will had hardened. He couldn't be persuaded so easily by Naruto's "talk-no-jutsu."

After all, this was the man who had betrayed and killed his own teacher, Minato, and his wife, Kushina. His will wasn't something that could be shaken by mere words.

So, despite knowing that Madara, who had planted the sealing tag in his heart, wasn't trustworthy, Obito still believed that as long as the Allied Shinobi Forces were still around, Madara wouldn't discard him. He hoped to recover and continue fighting.

But Obito severely overestimated himself—and underestimated Madara.

In an instant, five black rods shot out from Obito's right arm, piercing it painfully.

"Ahhh!" Obito screamed in agony, glaring at Madara with a face twisted in pain. "Madara, you...!"

Even Obito hadn't expected that Madara would abandon him so easily.

"Hmph," Madara scoffed. After clashing with Hashirama's ninjutsu, Madara landed beside Obito, arms crossed, looking down at him. "It's time for you to repay me, Obito."

With that, a coffin appeared beside Madara. The coffin lid opened, revealing Madara's real body inside. At the same time, Black Zetsu suddenly emerged, covering Obito in blackness and taking control of his body.

Seeing the coffin and Black Zetsu's actions, Hashirama realized that Obito had fallen under Madara's control. He and the others tried to attack and stop Madara from fully reviving, but it was too late!

"Rinne Rebirth!"

Under Black Zetsu's control, Obito used the same technique that Nagato had once used—the Rinne Rebirth, a jutsu that could bring the dead back to life.

However, in Ren's version of the story, he had added several limitations to the jutsu, avoiding the overpowered nature it had in the original.

First, the jutsu consumed vast amounts of chakra and life force—the more people revived, the more chakra and life it would drain.

Second, the jutsu couldn't be cast by someone brought back with Edo Tensei. This limitation addressed one of Ren's biggest gripes from the original story.

In the past, Ren had wondered why Madara needed Obito to use Rinne Rebirth when he could have just done it himself with his Rinnegan. Why not just clap his hands, say "Ha!" and cast the jutsu?

Could it be that every Rinnegan had different abilities?

But Obito's eyes were Madara's to begin with!

So, Ren introduced this rule to plug what he saw as a logical hole.

The third limitation was the need for a relatively intact body.

In the original series, Rinne Rebirth could seemingly bring anyone back to life, regardless of their body's condition. But in Ren's version, the jutsu couldn't revive someone if their body was severely damaged—like reduced to bones or just a pile of flesh. After all, this wasn't One Piece—not everyone could come back to life like Brook, with a "Yohohoho!"

Why did Ren make these changes?

Well, it was necessary for the upcoming storyline. Of course, Ren wasn't about to reveal why just yet.

"Even without my eyes... this body is perfect!" Madara exclaimed.

As Madara—one of the notorious Uchiha clan members known for their crazed laughter—was revived, he couldn't help but let out a wild laugh. "The feeling of my blood boiling!"

Although he no longer had his eyes, Madara's sensory abilities hadn't diminished one bit. In fact, he was now even stronger than when he fought Hashirama in the past—because he now had Hashirama's cells!

Though Sasuke attempted to launch a sneak attack using his hawk, Madara absorbed Sasuke's chakra attack and easily defeated him, grabbing Sasuke by the throat.

Despite having empty eye sockets, Madara could sense Sasuke's abilities. "Oh? A Mangekyo Sharingan? Even though it's not mine, I could use it for now."

With that, Madara extended his hand toward Sasuke's eyes, ready to gouge them out.

After all, in the Naruto world, eyes were basically interchangeable plug-ins, easy to swap without concern.

But would Hashirama just stand by and let Madara harm Sasuke?

Hashirama rushed in, clapping his hands to summon the Wood Dragon technique in an attempt to congratulate Madara on his return.

However, Madara easily dodged the attack, kicking Hashirama aside and binding him with chakra rods to immobilize him.

Though Madara failed to capture Sasuke, he had succeeded in restraining Hashirama and even absorbed some of Hashirama's Sage Mode chakra.

At this point, Madara was stronger than ever—he had surpassed his Edo Tensei form!

Uchiha, Senju, and Natural Energy...

These were the three most powerful forces in the ninja world, and they were all gathered in Madara's body!

Feeling invincible, Madara looked across the battlefield at the Nine Tailed Beasts. To him, they were no longer a threat.

With a smirk, he taunted them: "Mere grains of sand... not even worth a fraction of my power!"

Yes, to Madara, the tailed beasts and even the entire Allied Shinobi Forces were insignificant—mere specks of dust.

Unfortunately for him, his arrogance would soon be his downfall.

Despite his overwhelming strength, Madara was still at a disadvantage—he lacked his eyes.

Without them, he couldn't fend off the onslaught of the Nine Tailed Beasts, and in the heat of battle, his right arm was torn off.

But nobody saw this as a sign of weakness.

In fact, the fans were more worried for Naruto and his friends, as Madara's power was simply overwhelming.
