Chapter 9: The Principal and his Secretary

As the winds blows solemnly around, Haise, who was being held by Nelo vi Acheron, slowly opened his eyes that were still glowing.

'Woah!' Astonished by the glimpse of the place, Haize wandered his gaze to the castle-like and palace-like facilities and gardens.

Nelo glanced at Haise in the corner of his eyes, seeing his reaction he couldn't help but display a gentle smile on his face.

The two finally landed in front of a huge palace-like facility.

Haise, with his (still) glowing eyes, gazed around in astonishment. He lift his chin and gazed at the palace like building, until...

He saw a blonde haired woman with crimson eyes, who was solemnly standing all along in front of the palace-like door, revealed herself from the shadows.

The woman wears a blue and purple gothic suit that somehow shows and covers her voluptuous body. She display a worried look as she fixed her gaze to Nelo and glanced at Haise.

"Oh, Victoria, why are still up at this hour?" Nelo asked with a gentle expression.

"That should be my question..." Victoria, the blonde haired woman, answered with serious glare at Nelo.

"No worries, I'm not going anywhere." Nelo said in his awkward voice tone.

Victoria approached the two and once again glanced at Haise.

Haise, for some reason, felt a vibe of a knight from her.

"Ahem." Victoria coughed like she was clearing her voice.

"Oh yeah, apologize." Nelo pointed his hand at Haise. "This is Haise Kazumiya—"

"What!" Victoria asked in disbelief. "(Ahem) Forgave my rudeness." She went back to his posture realizing her reaction.

"Hehehe..." Nelo snickered.

"What are you snickering at?!" Victoria asked in annoyance.

"Nothing, nothing." [Nelo]

Haise, who was already feeling out of place, felt like he was watching anime live. 'Crap! It's a real life tsundere vampire!'

Victoria and Nelo fixed their eyes to Haise.

"W-what?" Haise stuttered as he asked apprehensively.

Now that Nelo noticed it...

Seeing this wary jet-black haired boy with bluish-white glowing eyes and rosy pale skin stood before them, adding by how the moonlight lightened his presence...

Both Victoria and Nelo couldn't but say: "Glamorous..."

Seeing them gulped and their eyes began to glow, Haise's eyes glows brighter and began to take a few step backwards, preparing to escape again.

Poor Haise, running and escaping all the time he thought bad luck was bullying him.

Nelo and Victoria shake their head and went back to their senses.

"Sorry about that." Nelo apologized.

Haise took a deep breath to calm himself down, his eyes also went back to its usual glow.

And why his was still glowing? Because he was being wary, given the fact that he has special visual.

With his visual ability, he could even see through the wall. He even saw an unusually red silhouette with golden mana watching them from the window.

Even Nelo's mana are quite different and terrifying from the vampires he saw. He could also see a strange and unfamiliar bright blue vampire mark on his neck.

Victoria, on the other hand, had a bright blue mana, the same color and bright as the vampire mark on Nelo's neck.

Usually, all vampires suppose to only have a red mana within them, but these two before him are quite different, especially Nelo vi Acheron and the one he saw inside the palace-like facility.

Actually, that red silhouette, with golden mana, snapped when it met Haise's gaze, causing it to ran away as if it was embarrassed.

Nelo and Victoria exchange glance and fixed their gaze to Haise.

"We never thought that such mage like you have a special eyes." Nelo said, noticing Haise was staring at the window of the palace-like facility.

"Mage... Me?" Haise asked as he gave a perplex gaze.

Nelo and Victoria exchange glance again.

"Umh, Don't you know what mage is?" Vitoria asked politely in confusion.

"Of course I know, the were often the subject of nobles and mangas about magic."

Victoria and Nelo let a deep sigh.

"Let's just bring him inside."

Victoria just nodded.

The two both agreed... seeing Haise's ignorance both gave up to asked further.

However...

Deep down, they were extremely curious.

"Oh by the way..." Victoria who was about to open the palace-like door stopped and faced Haise.

She put her hand showing five fingers on her chest then bow her head.

"I am Victoria Cel Tradat, the one and only secretary of principal Nelo vi Acheron."

Haise glanced at Nelo. Nelo move his eyebrows with a proud smile on his face.

For some reason, Hase felt irritated seeing that king of expression coming from Nelo himself.

"Welcome, Haise Kazumiya."

Victoria finally opened the door, and all of them entered.

A blonde haired man and a dark-green woman walked in the hallway.

Suddenly...

"Mister Rendell! Miss Veronica!"

A maid ran towards towards Rendell and Veronica.

The turned around the moment they heard their named coming from the mouth of the maid.

"What is it, maid?" Veronica asked.

"Th-The boy!" The maid stuttered, she seems to be apprehensive. "He's gone!"

Hearing the maid's report, Veronica's and Rendell's brain stopped functioning. They were both standing like a statue, and their eyes' vigor could barely seen.

"Fuck!"

"Ahoo!"

As the three walked in the hallway way, Nelo and Victoria stared at Haise.

"Are you okay?" Victoria asked.

"Yeah, I just felt like someone's talking about me." Haise honestly answered.

"Pffft" Nelo and Victoria giggled.

Haise gave a perplex look.
