Chapter 11: The Eyeglasses

Three days later...

Haise was dress in a black gothic suit. It took him a while to got out from the changing room due to the maids' urge to dress him in a different clothes.

All the clothes they tried on Haise were all astonishingly good on him, causing the maid urges. Alorazel was also present and got along with the maid's urges.

Curious about how Haise let go of his wariness?

Well Alorazel didn't bit him when Haise offered his neck... And for the past three days until now, Alorazel did her best to comfort and entertain Haise.

To Haise's confusion to why Alorazel cared so deeply about him, he finally let go of his wariness; thinking: 'It really is not an illusion.'

Watching Haise's uncomfortable expression, which Alorazel find it cute, she just giggled and giggled at him.

In the dining room. A uselessly long table lies on the floor, chairs with it stock solemnly. As Haise went in with Alorazel embracing his arm, he could not help, but wandered his gaze occasionally around.

Alorazel smile as she observed Haise's wandered his gaze around with only showing the astonishment in his eyes.

To Haise's ignorance, his unintentional elegance stood above in Alorazel's eyes... even the maid's that we're cleaning and doing their jobs around the Vladamirovichs' residence couldn't help but direct their gaze on Haise.

Haise looked at Alorazel, who has bitter looks on her face, as he felt her grip tighten. 'Is she jealous?' He really didn't wanted to assume.

Alorazel vi Vladamirovich was known not only for her unworldly beauty, but also how she maintain her elegance and posture. Witnessing her acting like a spoiled child, the maids was stunned in disbelieve.

'Who is that boy?' They really wanted to know.

"Lady Alorazel, the principal and his secretary is here to visit you." The butler, standing at the dining room's doorway, reported.

"Yo..." Nelo waved his hand as he entered with Victoria.

"Oh!"

Seeing Haise in his gothic suit, Victoria and Nelo were both captivated. The shaked their head, and once again looked Haise who was eating his breakfast, while Alorazel sitting beside him.

'Is this really Alorazel vi Vladamirovich?' The two inwardly asked, seeing how she serve Haise, who perplex look on his face, like a lovely with. The two exchanged glance and both signed, then they finally approached the dining table.

"What make you visit in residence, principal." Alorazel asked in her neutral tone. "Do you, by any chance, have business here?"

"Not really, I only came for him." Nelo said as he looked at Haise.

Alorazel's expression became bitter hearing Nelo's reason of his visiting.

Seeing Alorazel's glare... "Victoria..." Nelo called Victoria. Victoria put a brown leather eyeglasses' container on the back.

"?"

Alorazel and Haise looked the brown leather eyeglasses' container.

"What is that for?" Alorazel asked.

"I came here to give this to Haise." Nelo pushed the eyeglasses' contains towards Alorazel and Haise.

When Haise was about to grab the eyeglasses' container, Alorazel grabbed his wrist.

"Oh." Nelo noticed Alorazel's protective side towards Haise. 'She's really into this boy, huh?' It really was the first she saw Alorazel acting like this, for she is one of the flowers of Orfeo that said to never ever turned their gaze away from their destination... yet here he was, witnessing another side of Alorazel vi Vladamirovich.

'How cute.' Victoria thought while maintaining a neutral face of a knight.

"What a lovely wife you are."

Alorazel cutely gasped when Nelo complemented that side of her, which Nelo and Victoria found it cute. Yes it's a complement from Nelo.

"Wh~what do you mean lovely wife." Alorazel was blushing and stuttered, she clearly like it.

Victoria couldn't help, but snickered and Nelo just giggled. Teasing someone like Alorazel it really pleasures him.

Haise, who was just watching them, enjoyed the scene... Specially Alorazel's cute behavior and reactions.

"Oh!"

Seeing his smile, it was like how the moonlight caress the night, glamorous pair of eyes that reflects light like how the moon and gem always does. As Nelo and Victoria both felt the peace of the night in Haise's presence, they n't turned their gaze away.

Haise looked at them as he felt their gaze was fixed on him. "I-is there some wrong, sir?" He did asked politely as he felt uncomfortable on their gaze.

Alorazel, who was possessively embracing Haise's arm glanced at Haise then Nelo.

"No worries I'm going to take him." Nelo said while displaying a gentle smile on his face.

"Say, Haise, why don't you enroll to my academy."

Hearing Nelo's suggestion, both Victoria and Alorazel snapped.

"I'm sorry, but I have to decline that." Haise said with such neutral expression.

Alorazel for some reason was downcast and felt a little disappointed. She seems to be expected to be with Haise.

"At least not now."

Her face lit up when she heard Haise following words.

"Oh?" Nelo was confused so as Victoria. "Don't tell me you're planning to go back to human society?" He was already aware of Haise's decision before he asked.

"That's right." Haise answered.

Hearing the following words of Haise's, Nelo couldn't help, but asked: "Why do still desire to go back to the human society."

"For some unfinished business, honestly." Haise answered in a neutral tone.

Haise noticed Nelo's and Victoria's confused face, he also glanced at Alorazel's confused face.

"..." Haise let a deep sigh. "No worries, you guys can always pick me up. That is after I settled my business."

"And I'm also that I have to dirtied my hands to settle this."

"And you, Alorazel, this is my business alone."

Everyone suddenly felt chill coming from Haise down to their spine. Haise was already aware of Alorazel's way of thinking despite her wits.

Nelo and Victoria already get why Haise's meant.

Before Nelo could ever suggest something, his words was interrupted by Alorazel.

"..." Nelo a deep sigh, seeing Alorazel's determination in her eyes. "Very well, I believe you also have this kind of eyeglasses." He said as he pointed his hand on the eyeglasses' container.

Alorazel glanced at the eyeglasses' container then Nelo.

"What?" [Nelo] "I told you, I'm here to give this to him."

"Is that—?" [Alorazel]

"Yes, an eyeglasses imbued with wardening spells. And a special one." [Nelo]

Alorazel was confused, she knows how special this item which was imbued with wardening spells.

Wandering spells are meant for items to concealed and weakened ones' presence.

"I see." Is all Alorazel could say.

"Now are business here is done, well now take our leave." Nelo said as he stood up and walked to the dining room's doorway, followed by Victoria.

"Wait—" Alorazel tried to reach and stopped them with a worried look on her face.

"No worries, we're not going to report this to your mother."

"By the way, Haise, vampires are arrogant beings, so you should be careful."

Nelo said, then the two finally left.
