Alex stared at the crown with mixed feelings. He never liked his mother when she wore this crown. He hated Gabriella further. The crown had only given him bad memories.
He believed that many change when this falls on their head. But then, he was wearing one too. He nodded his head slowly giving them permission to take actions.
Katherine held the crown tightly, her fingers brushing it for one last time. She knew that it would never belong to hers. And even now, she had no desire to hold it. It was more cursed than a boon.
Her eyes drifted to the window on her left, as if she was still waiting for Willaim to come and join them. But her silver hopes were nothing.
She took a deep breath and raised it high. Oli bowed her head slowly, smiling at the tensed woman with an assuring gaze.
But before the crown could be placed on her head, a man held it and pulled back.
