[Bonus chapter] Love the food

"How did it end like this?" Alex stared at the number of persons in the carriage. Ethan and Lia had captured the seat opposite to him completely while Tavern and Oliver had to adjust on the other side.

When Oliver was told that he had to fight with Tavern to secure his seat. He stubbornly said that he needed to eat and take medicine before fighting since he was not feeling well.

And Ethan stubbornly refused saying Lia is tired and could not cook anymore and they should go out for a meal in the inn.

He adjusted on his seat only for his hands to brush Oliver's bare arms. The silky sensation of her skin was still lingering on his skin. but he ignored the strange feeling and looked out of the window.

Thank goodness Oliver did not pass any comments about it. He looked at her with side eyes only to see her pale face and closed eyes and a frown formed on his face.

He was right about her. She had good talent but her body was weak. She is not able to do this much, how would she bear the rough journeys of a knight!

Soon the carriage stopped in front of a vast building. It looked like the building had no end with vast chandeliers and a large area for the parking of the carriage,

It looked like one large building covered with many small shops from both sides.

Ethan's pupil dilated when he saw that place and stared at Alex with strange eyes when Olivia raised a brow but Alex did not react.

He opened the door and walked out of the carriage followed by others. Soon, a man with white beard and traditional dress ran towards them when Olivia smiled.

She had come here before and had an argument with the man managing the place. She had told them that the prices were way too much. They are robbing the citizens with that exorbitant money.

But now that Alex was going to pay, she did not mind a bit about it. But when she saw the man coming towards them was none other than the manager, she thought he had come to chase her away for creating ruckus that day.

"I.. I think we should go somewhere else!" she muttered as she took a step back but Alex held her in her place with her back collar like someone holding a sack.

"Where do you think you are going? Hmm?" his voice was cold and threatening that she could not avoid him at once.

Just when she was thinking about a proper reply, the man had already reached them.

"Oh my, I wish I had known that you were coming in advance. I would have cleared the whole floor for you. But I have already asked the staff to prepare the best private room for you." a look of flattering smile formed on his face when he stared at Alex who nodded without a hint of enthusiasm yet he was not disappointed a bit.

He continued to follow them with smile bright expressions that Olivia could imagine a tale behind him that was wagging in front of Alex.

As they sat in the room, the man started announcing all the best dishes of the inn with more vigor completely unaffected by the lack of attention of Alex,

"And we have imported seafood too that has crab and lobster too."

Alex nodded his head without listening to any dish and asked tersely, "what do you want to eat?" He did not want to hear complain later that she had an allergy to the food and was feeling more awful now.

But others took it in a different way. Lia was filled with surprise while finally the smile on the face of the man froze.

He had recognized Olivia at once but did not react since she was with their master. But who would have thought that master would give a fool the chance to order them.

He paused and gave the man a once over since he had not paid any attention to them except Alex when the manager blinked.

He knew this man. He was the one who had recently created a ruckus in their building. His gaze instantly turned fierce but when he saw the serious expression of Alex, he was not left with much choice. Yet the disdain on his face could not be kept hidden.

He must not have money to match the standards of this place yet he ate and could not pay the bill later so created a ruckus and was later thrown out of this place. How could such a man be an acquaintance of master Alex?!

Even though he was astonished inside, he was still good at reading people. When he raised his head up again, he was all smiles. "Young Master, what would you like to eat today, I will get my staff to serve it."

Olivia, who was not paying much attention to his words but was looking for a weakness in Tavern, blinked.

Who would have thought that this cold master would ask her to order. She just remembered the last of his words.

"Then I would have that lobster." and then started looking at the Tavern again so I did not notice the face of the man turning sour.

She wanted to free load on their master! Though he was grumbling in his heart. He still took the order down slowly.

"You want to have lobster?" asked Alex with a frown. Didn't she vomit so much? And now she wanted to have such heavy food.

She should have ordered soup or lighter food since she has to spar with Tavern later but unable to read his expressions the girl just shrugged her shoulders and did not pay much attention to his words.

'Wow! So she did not even pay attention to him now!' great! Just you see then.'

"Looks like you like it too much. Then bring twenty lobsters for him and take the orders of rest of the people separately."
