Season Two: Chapter Ten (Part I)

After they ended the conversation about Lia's possible whereabouts, Chase walked up the stairs to his room, leaving Yael in the living room. Maybe he should get people to check on the possible places that Lia might be.

Just as he walked past the study room that his father always worked in, Chase heard voices from the study room.

Voices from his dad and... Tifanny.

"It's been a year, uncle. But he doesn't seem to be interested in me at all. And I thought the plan was a success." Tifanny said.

Plan? He wondered.

"It was successful, wasn't it? Otherwise, they will not break up that easily." His father spoke.

Chase gasped, but he closed his mouth instantly to prevent making any more noises that would alert them.

"I thought by doing so, he would hate Lia and he would move on. But... he practically lost interest in everything except work."
