Marked

Tiny rays of light were peaking from thin curtains illuminating a room that was a mess. Between that mess were two figures lying peacefully in each other's embrace.

Ariel woke up from her slumber and was greeted by Eric's handsome face that seemed to glow under sunlight.

Ariel ran her finger over his face admiring his features before tracing her fingers along his neck.

"good morning." Eric said startling Ariel. "good morning." she retracted her hand but it was caught by Eric who bought it to his lips kissing it gently. "Are you hungry?". Ariel nodded her head.

"let me cook something for you." Eric said sitting up bed.

"Eric, can I ask you something?".

"sure love." Eric replied.

"Don't werewolves mark their mates to show others that they are taken." Ariel asked suggestively.

"they do, but it has a much deeper meaning. A mark shows that we have decided to give our lives to you. We only mark a person when we are hundred percent sure we can take care of that person for our entire lives, a mark not only shows that we have claimed you it also represents that we are willing to bind our life with you. A wolf mates for life after all. "

Ariel buried her head in his chest." so you don't want to bind your life with me? "

" you want me to mark you? " Eric asked a little surprised." yes, is there something wrong with it? "

" n.., no..no, absolutely no, it's just I thought since you are also the queen of vampires you might not want to carry a mark." Eric stuttered a little due to his excitement.

" I know that some people may think that I have been tamed by you but for me carrying your mark is a pride. "Ariel said placing her hand on his cheek.

" are you sure about this? ". Eric asked his face beaming with happiness. Ariel just nodded her head and pecked his lips.

Eric pulled her closer placing wet kisses on the area where his mark would be. Eric brought Ariel into his lap and tightened his hold on her waist, he kissed her passionatly giving his wolf slight control.

He layed her down on the bed and kissed her forehead followed by kiss on her eyes, nose cheeks, and finally her lips.

He licked her lips biting them slightly causing Ariel to moan. Eric took this opportunity and inserted his tongue in her mouth.

He devoured her sweet taste and after a few minutes broke the kiss. He kissed the corner of her mouth before trailing kisses along her jaw.

He then moved towards her ear and bit it softly. He licked her ear lobe causing Ariel to whimper under him.

He then left a trail of wet kisses along the length of her neck.

Ariel felt his teeth grazing on her neck before sinking in, she felt sudden pain which was later replaced by tingles and pleasure, following the bite Eric licked the drops of blood that managed to trickle down, he placed a soft kiss on that area marking her forever as his.

"Forever mine. I love you my queen." Eric whispered softly.
