This is a story of how a man gets transmigrated into the body of Light Von Mavros in the world of Uiovantio. After the murder of his parents left Light traumatized, he was taken in by one of the great sects as a servant to one of the outer sect disciples. Little did they know however that the person that was coming to their sect was not the same light as they once knew, instead, a new current of despair that they created. Because of his past sorrows, Light seeks nothing but freedom, the greatest salvation of them all. To achieve this, Light defeats all those who are undefeated, conquers all that is to be conquered, and destroys everything in his path to the pinnacle of mankind. Encrusting his name in history as the Crimson Demon!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- I'm a relatively new writer but I definitely don't mind the criticism. Please tell me if there is anything that I am doing wrong that you would like to see differently or anything in general that you would like to see and it will find its way into the story somehow. (Read Path to The Pinnacle. This is one of my older books but Path to the Pinnacle is the prime project that I am currently working on.)
Light returned to his room and decided to continue cultivating but before he closed his eyes, he got a message from the system.
<Ancient Demon Monkey is now fully bonded with your soul!>
On hearing this, a small red light the size of a basketball appeared in front of Light and started to flicker and make weird noises. After a couple of seconds, the light condensed to the size of a pin needle before exploding and sending a large shock wave throughout the room and knocking Light against the wall.
Light coughed and looked at what the explosion had created. In the middle of the room where the small light was previously stood a puny monkey the size of Lights palm. Its fur was a brilliant crimson red and had a golden yellow V-shaped mark on its forehead and its eyes were completely a pure red color.
The monkey looked around curiously as to where he had just been birthed. He then saw Light and then came rushing at him full speed. Seeing this, Light got a little scared. "Woa- Woah!" Light said as he put his hands straight in front of him to block the monkey's attack.
The monkey didn't attack, however, instead it climbed up Light's arm and jumped to the top of his head. For some reason, Light could feel a deep connection and bond with the monkey, like he could trust his life in the hands of it. The monkey also gave him a sense of a great and ancient creature.
After arriving at Light's head, the monkey looked ahead with anticipation and excitement. "Au Au Ah!" The monkeys yelled as it pulled Light's hair, trying to make him move. "Ow! Stop that!" Light yelled at the monkey.
In the middle of their little squabble, the system gave Light a message.
<What will you name your soul bond?>
Light stopped and thought about this. "Hmm, your name will be Sun because your fur is as bright as the sun!" Light said The monkey then excitedly jumped up and down on top of Light's head. It clearly liked the name. Light was also quite amused by the monkey.
After calming down, the monkey jumps off of Light's head and sits on the bed. This puny and adorable monkey the size of a palm sits down and crosses his legs while closing his eyes and starts cultivating next to Light.
Light gets quite startled by this but decides to also cultivate himself. Suddenly, all of the qi in the surrounding 100 meters get wiped out instantly, all being absorbed by Light and Sun. Light was shocked. It seemed that when cultivating with a soul bond, your cultivation would increase rapidly and the cultivation would be shared with each other.
In the last couple of days, Light learned many things about the sect from his servants. Apparently, this sect was one of the largest seven sects on the planet. Where they were at now was the outer servant sect. The entire sect had two main departments, one was the outer sect and the other was the inner sect.
Information about the inner sect was highly defended so Light didn't hear much about that, but he did hear about the outer sect. There were six elders in the outer sect that controlled six different branches of the same sect, like miniature sects inside the whole. These six elders were called the six pillars of the outer sect.
One of the elders controlled the outer servant sect as well. The outer servant sect elder was obviously the weakest and least respected but he was still an elder of the Hanjiao sect! To normal people, hearing his name would be like hearing a deity's.
Knowing that the sect assessment was coming up, all Light did was eat, sleep and cultivate for about an entire week.
----------
During this week, many things occurred. From the outer servant sect, the other branches of the outer sect also heard about this so-called demon. His name spread throughout the outer sect, reaching more than three branches within one week.
Light had broken through into the fifth stage of the qi refinement realm and Sun had already gotten to the third stage. Sun's cultivation was not as fast as Lights but it was still phenomenal. If one were to hear of such fast cultivation they would cough blood.
It would take many ordinary people over a decade to get to the third stage of the qi refinement realm.
Now that he had broken through into the fifth stage of qi refinement, Light decided to make sure that he was being noticed by the higher-ups. He couldn't exactly harm every single servant and catch attention that way because then he would just be considered a maniac and thrown into prison, so instead, he decided to put every single servant in the outer servant sect through grueling and painful training.
Light made his way to where he had killed Han. He then ordered his servants from room eight to gather as many people as possible. As word spread that Light wanted everyone in front of room eight, no one hesitated to try and escape. Their fear of Light was at an all-time high so they decided to be as cautious as possible and not try anything stupid like running away.
After about half an hour over 500 servants were gathered in front of Light. It was good enough for Lights plan.
"Alright! Listen up maggots! Everyone is going to do rigorous training starting from now on! I've noticed how weak you all are and I'm here to fix that!" Light shouted out to the crowd.
Everyone looked at each other confused.
Behind Light was a pile of rocks that he had already ordered from his servants to gather. The rocks were about 20 pounds in weight. Light started to throw the rocks at every single servant there. Thankfully they lived on a mountain so there was an abundance of rocks.
Everyone successfully dodged the rocks. "Hahaha! That's it!? This isn't rigorous training at all!" A kid shouted out of the crowd while puffing his chest up, full of pride and confidence.
Light looked at the kid and slightly smiled before speaking. "Now! Everyone put those rocks on your back and do 10,000 push-ups!" He yelled at the crowd.
The proud servant's ego was instantly deflated. Everyone was looking at Light in a way as to ask "are you serious??".
"Hurry up! I'm not telling you again!" Light yelled angrily one more time.
Hearing the animosity in his voice, everyone started to do pushups with the 20-pound rocks on top of them. Some couldn't even do a real push-up, let alone this one. Light walked around everyone, making sure no one was taking a single break.
Lights plan was, once you over-train your body, it would hurt like hell for quite a long time, not only that, it would also make you become very weak and tired, causing you to become negative as well. With all of this, the hatred towards Light would grow greatly and his name would spread even quicker with his grueling training etched into the minds of all of the servants.
In the midst of training, Light noticed an aura of someone who was clearly superior to him in cultivation appear out of nowhere in the distance. The aura slowly got closer and closer before Light could finally see a man coming around the corner.
The man looked quite old and had a long grey beard. He wore a robe that was light green in color just like the uniform of the servants in the servant sect. His robe was garnered with many exotic gems and looked to be very expensive.
The man had a bright smile as he walked over to Light. "Hello young man, care to talk?" The old man said.
Almost everyone recognized that voice. Looking in front of them, everyone could see the pillar of help, servant sect elder Voith. "Why in the world is the great sect elder here?" A servant said.
The servant sect elder simply called for Light to come with him and seemingly disappeared. Everyone was quite confused. The servant sect elder himself coming to invite Light!? Who was this kid?!
Light quickly followed, ordering a servant to look over the training. After about an hour of following elder Voith, Light arrived at his abode. It looked like an absolutely magical place. The backyard garden was a majestic place with exotic flowers and plants all around creating a soothing and beautiful aura.
The servant sect elder then invited Light inside of his home. Going through the back door, Light arrived in some sort of a meeting room. There was one big table in the middle with multiple seats on the side.
"Sit down." Elder Voith said with a gentle smile on his face. Light nonchalantly sat down.
"I hear that you have already broken through the third stage of the qi refinement realm at such a young age, it is a clear sign of a prodigy!" Elder Voith said to Light.
"Yes." Light replied. Light did not want to completely lie to the elder because being sneaky was simply annoying to him no matter how consequences there were, but he couldn't just say that he had broken through into the fifth stage of qi refinement out of the blue. Light wanted to talk as least as possible.
"Amazing! If that's the case, then I would like you to participate in the outer sect disciple assessment that is coming up in a couple of days, what do you say?" The elder said with a calm expression. In reality, he was quite nervous. Such a talent hadn't appeared in many years, he had to get his person inside of this sect in order for personal gain.
If he was to be able to get such a prodigy into the sect, his reputation would skyrocket.
Light was not an idiot, he knew that he was a prodigy and that he would not simply come free.
"Well then, if you want me to participate in this assessment, it will not come free, you will need to pay me and give me special privileges." Light said to the elder with a smug expression.
'This arrogant little brat!' Elder Voith thought to himself.
"Privileges? Well, of course, that will come naturally, but money? Why would you need such a thing as money?" The elder was genuinely confused.
"Well to buy elixirs to help me cultivate of course." Light said, also slightly confused.
The elder stopped for a moment before speaking. "Elixirs? Hah! What do you think we are in a weak sect!? We don't use such things here! We use qi cores as currency here! Qi cores are the greatest helper in cultivation that there is!" The elder proudly said.
"Qi cores? Well then great! That's what I want then." Light quickly replied.
"Wha- qi cores?" The elder said, slightly coughing.
Elder Voith knew the value of qi cores, but he also knew the value of Light. Light's value was far greater than the qi cores, but he was still scared that Light might ask for a crazy amount of qi cores. His only hope was that since Light didn't even know about qi cores just a second ago, he wouldn't ask for a crazy amount.
Elder Voith gulped loudly before continuing. "Fine. How much would you like?" He put up a small smile.
"10,000!" Light yelled out.
The elder almost coughed blood hearing this.
"Ten what!? That is far too much even for you! I cannot accept such an offer!" The elder said, hoping that Light would lower the price.
Light simply started to get up and leave. After putting his hand on the door handle, he was called back.
"Wait! Maybe we could work something out. You are a prodigy after all!" The elder said.
Light smiled.
"A- How about eight thousand qi cores!" The elder yelled out.
After hearing this, Light pushed the door handle and started to walk out.
"Wait! Fine nine thousand! Nine!" The elder yelled in desperation.
Light ignored him and continued to walk out.
"Okay, ten! Ten is what we will do!" The elder finally said, deflated.
Light then turned around and closed the door.
"We have a deal!"
2 hours before.
"There is a prodigy worthy of becoming a great master of the nascent soul realm within the servant sect! I promise you that he will not let you down Iron pillar! Please let him participate in this assessment!" The servant sect elder Voith said as he could be seen kneeling down on one knee.
"Fine... but know the consequences Voith. Dismissed." The pillar of iron, elder Atsali said before elder Voith disappeared into the wind.
