The End 03

Reen tried to recall what happened but no matter how much she tried, she couldn't remember anything. She titled her head in a cute manner and started curiously at him indicating that she didn't remember anything.

Uoron could not help but inhale sharply.

"Sh*t! If you continue to looked so innocently yet seductively at me, don't blame me for pouncing on you." He could not help but mumble to himself aggrievedly.

He had to maintain his utmost self-control the past few days especially seeing her wearing such a cute pajama being so unguarded and vulnerable sleeping peacefully and without worry sleeping on the bed.

"Drink this first." He took the glass of lukewarm water at the table and handed it to her.

Finally realizing her throat was parch, she took the water gratefully and drank it slowly while glancing occasionally at him

After finishing her glass of water, Uoron who was observing her attentively handed her the bowl of porridge.

Reen was not really in the mood to eat anything but knowing that he wouldn't tell her anything if she didn't eat it she reach for it and started to eat slowly.

After tasting and finding it highly delicious she started eating with gusto. Seeing this, Uoron smiled dotingly at her as he patted her head and stood up to make a call.

While she was feeding her hungry stomach, Uoron made a call to inform the NaIde's that Reen had woken up.

After making sure she was well fed and comfortable. He sat on the small stool beside the bed and patiently explained what happened the past few days to her.

"After leaving my house, I hurriedly made my way towards your house. As long as I could make sure you were alright, I was sure that my fretting heart would stop worrying."

"Why would you…?" Reen left her words unsaid but Uoron knew that she wanted to know why he was anxiously looking for her then.

He looked at her and all the playfulness expression was replaced with seriousness as he said,

"I couldn't get the image of you vomiting excessive blood out of my mind. Seeing you so battered both in mind, body and emotionally I just couldn't…" 

As he was saying such things he could not help but recall the past.

Uoron, Claire, Vlad and Mara had an outing right after Claire's arrival. It was to "strengthen" their family bonds as per Vlad's words.

Uoron who was still mildly shocked by the sudden existence of a sister he never knew about didn't know what happened but only snapped out of his shocked after noticing that he had gone together with them.
