He led her to the wine cellar but once she saw the collection of wine, Diana scrunched her nose, ''Ryle's taste is worse than his actions. I have something great at my place. Let me get it from you,'' Diana rushed away without giving Maxim a chance to respond.
Maxim crossed his arms in front of his chest and leaned back on the wall, chuckling. She could have cut to the chase and said that she wouldn't accept these because Ryle pissed her sister off but she just had to talk in circles to state her point through her actions.
Good for her that he was not bad at reading her.
Maxim went to the Master bedroom and cleaned the coffee table before arranging the wine glasses and ice bucket.
Almost half an hour passed by the time Maxim had freshened up and gotten changed, and Diana had yet to come back.
