Honestly, it wasn't only the way he made her react, but she was also doing something to him as, he dove right in for the kiss after she spoke. Taking advantage of her gasping in surprise his tongue dove right in. As they were kissing he kept one arm on the edge while the other held the back of her head.

They broke away for a moment to breathe and then they heard people talking. James quickly backed away not really because people were coming, but he didn't want to think he would do something other than make-out, even if his lowere regions was wanting to.

With him backing away and people entering the pool area, Maria turned leave not letting go of the edge of the pool or jumping out as she her body felt weak. With James' issue, he decided to follow her from a distance, "I hope to see you tomorrow, Maria." He said with a gentle smile. Tired and not knowing what to make of what just happened, she turned around locking eyes with the boy she just kissed, cheeks turning a bit pink, mixed emotions in her head. "Ok." Was all she had the energy to say. Because she was worn out mentally and physically she decided to take a 30- minute nap before heading home.

"Why are you still here?" "Oh, well, I thought I would wait for you since you seem tired. I asked a lady about you when I didn't see you leave." Seeing the nervous scared look in her eyes, he quickly put up his hands, "ah no, I am not a bad person, I just want you. Ah no what i mean is I'll take you home if you are not feeling welll." Dumbfounded as he heard a laugh escape her lips, "Thanks. But I walk home." "Ah we don't need to walk or take public transportation, I can drive you home." "Thanks James, but I grew up playing outside, so I prefer to be outside as much as I can." The way she said his name, just like anyone would say it, sounded like music to his ears. "I can walk you home then, nothing like a nice walk after swimming." "My home is about a 45 min walk from here. See you tomorrow." '45 min walk he repeated in his head. That's crazy!!! Who would walk 45 mins to go swimming?!! Wait if she's here at 7 am, then that means she wakes up before 6 am during vacation to go swimming??? That's crazy… hmm wait she grew up playing outside… ah that's right they said she came from the countryside. I wonder if she knows how to milk a cow.' Lost in thought he to went home.
