Ryuuen started laughing. "You're the real deal. You really are X."
Ayanokoji nodded. "I told you I was."
Ryuuen smiled. "And you live up to your reputation. However, you can never beat me."
"I fail to see how that's a possibility." Ayanokoji responded.
"Kukuku. Because I've never felt fear before. I'll keep coming back, over and over, no matter how many times you think you've beat me, I'll always come crawling back to challenge you again."
"Interesting. So you haven't felt fear… I used to be the same."
"Trying to act tough now?"
Ayanokoji shook his head. "No. I just found it interesting how things have changed."
He glanced at Syl.
Ryuuen didn't notice.
Ryuuen smiled. "Then what made you change?"
"An insurmountable wall."
"Kukuku. I don't believe those exist."
"Then, would you like me to prove it to you?"
"Kukukukukuku. Good, good. This is good! Let's do this! Fight me more! Show me more!"
Ryuuen charged in.
Ayanokoji easily dodged, blocked or countered everything he threw.
Ryuuen was slowly losing with each and every exchanged.
Ayanokoji was bouncing on the balls of his feet like a boxer.
Ryuuen made a big right hook and Ayanokoji ducked under it before coming up and meeting Ryuuen's face with his knuckles.
Ryuuen stumbled backwards and spit up blood.
He regained his balance and smiled.
Ayanokoji wasn't even sweating.
The two met up for another exchange and Ryuuen threw the empty bucket at Ayanokoji.
Ayanokoji blocked it with his wrist and dodged the hidden punch from Ryuuen before smacking his second punch to the side and grabbing the back of his head with his other hand and pushing it into his knee.
Ryuuen stumbled backwards again after getting kneed in the face.
Kei clapped and cheered. "That's the one you did!"
Syl nodded and laughed. "He's stealing my moves already. They grow up so fast."
Kei giggled.
The two continued watching the fight and bantering with each other.
A few seconds later, Ayanokoji knocked Ryuuen to the floor.
He mounted him and punched him once.
Then Syl started chanting. "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Ki- OWW!"
Kei kicked him in the shin again.
"Bad doggie!" She reprimanded.
"It's not my fault your boy toy is being stolen away. OW!" Syl hissed.
Kei kicked his other shin.
"Bad bad doggie! Shush! No whining!"
Syl curled up and a ball and sat on his tailbone.
"How cruel! Why are all women so evil?!"
Kei side eyed him and wound up another kick.
Syl quickly shut his mouth.
Kei smiled and sat back down.
Back at the fight.
Ayanokoji was pounding Ryuuen. (With his fists. Nothing else.)
Ryuuen's smiling face was starting to change.
"Show me your emotion! What are you feeling? Anger? Happiness? Resentment?"
Ayanokoji paused with his fist in the air.
"Neither."
He brought his fist down on Ryuuen's cheek again.
"Tell me what it is then!" Ryuuen yelled.
"Nothing."
"What?"
"A mundane and simple task such as this could never invoke emotion." Ayanokoji punched Ryuuen again.
Ryuuen's face started contorting. "Huh?"
"Do you not understand? When brush your teeth in the morning do you feel anything? When you wash your hands?"
He punched again.
"When doing simple and easy tasks, the brain doesn't receive any stimulants, it's boring."
He punched again.
"To me. This is boring."
Ryuuen started to look scared. "W-what."
"You're boring, Ryuuen."
He punched again.
"Y-you're insane!" Ryuuen called out with fear.
"Exactly."
Ayanokoji brought his fist down with enough force to knock him out.
Ryuuen's horrified face was immortalized as he was unconscious.
Ayanokoji stood up.
"Booo! No kiss! We wanted a kiss!"
Syl jumped over the incoming kick from Kei. "Ha! I saw it coming!"
"Damn dog's learning." Kei muttered.
Syl smiled. "I know! I'm so smart!"
Kei suddenly flicked him in the forehead. "Ow!"
Kei smiled. "You didn't see that coming, did you? Stupid~" She spat her tounge out mockingly.
Syl grumbled. "Damn witches. They're everywhere you go."
Ayanokoji sighed. "Are we done here?"
Syl nodded. "Yup! Let's go!"
The trio walked off together.
On their way out they passed Manabu and Chabashira.
Syl smiled. "How's my favourite prez doing?"
Manabu nodded. "I need someone to stop Nagumo."
Syl chuckled. "Well, maybe. That could be a fun side quest."
Chabashira was shocked. "Did you just call the student council president a side quest?"
Syl nodded. "Don't you agree, Kiyopon? I'd kick his ass in 2 seconds, it wouldn't be much of a fight."
Ayanokoji and Manabu both nodded.
"He's not very strong." Ayanokoji said.
"He never practiced martial arts." Manabu said.
Chabashira sighed. "You three are monsters. No one else would think that way."
Syl chuckled. "That's what makes us such a great trio!" Then Syl gasped. "WE GOTTA DO SOMETHING TOGETHER AS A TRIO!!"
Ayanokoji and Manabu looked at one another. "Well, it would be fun. Maybe we could stop Nagumo." Manabu said.
Ayanokoji nodded. "Could be interesting."
Syl smiled. "Ya! Just like when we expelled Kushida together! But this time with that ice queen's precious brother too! I'm getting excited just thinking about it! We totally have to do it!"
Kei pouted. "I helped with Kushida too."
Syl nodded. "Yes, yes, you were a good doggie who followed orders."
Kei snorted and kicked at Syl's shin, but he dodged again.
"I'm not falling for that again!" Syl called out triumphantly.
"W-wh-what's that?" Kei asked in fear.
"Eh? What?" Syl turned his head,
"OWWWW! FUCK!" Syl screamed as Kei kicked him in the shin full power.
Kei giggled. "Oldest trick in the book."
Syl was writhing on the floor in pain. "You two see this right? This has to be against the rules!!!"
Manabu pretended to clean his glasses. "I can't see well without my glasses."
Chabashira turned and faced the other way. "See what?" She asked.
"You're evil! Horrible! How could you give such preferential treatment! I demand equal rights!"
Kei laughed at him before walking away. Chabashira followed suit.
Syl got up and dusted off his uniform. "So? You guys really want to do this? The three of us are a dream team. I couldn't hand pick a better trio."
Manabu pushed up his glasses. "We'll see what opportunities present themselves. If the situation allows for it… I'd be happy to oblige."
Syl smiled. "You're excited too, eh?" Then he looked at Ayanokoji. "You in too?"
Ayanokoji thought about it seriously for a moment. "If I can stay in the shadows, it's worth considering."
Syl smiled. He wrapped an arm around each of their necks.
"This is gonna be interesting."
