As the world was was going through a huge change, a person was lying unconscious in a hut.

Almost 15 minutes after the Mutation of earth completed, his eyes twitched, there seemed to be some movement. Slowly and surely he open his eyes to see the changed world.

As Evan stirred from his prolonged slumber in the hut, a surreal experience unfolded. Floating above his head, akin to luminescent mobile notifications, were holographic texts that conveyed the profound messages. The words spoke of Earth's mutation, a cosmic dialogue inscribed in the very air around them.

Each holographic message carried the urgency of nature's call, a silent plea for understanding and symbiosis. Evan found himself at the intersection of a cosmic narrative, where the very essence of Earth seemed to communicate through these ethereal alerts.

Evan subconsciously read the first few messages. And after the surprise those word gave him, he extended his arm trying to touch the panel but to his surprise, his arm went through it as he there was nothing in the air to begin.

'Huh, doesn't it feel like the start of fiction novels'

He has read many light novels and comics and seen similar scenarios but surely he didn't expect something like this to happen on this planet too.

When read the first few messages, he saw a scrollbar on the right side of panel but since he he could not touch the panel, he just thought about scrolling and as if the panel was connected to his mind, it scrolled slowly.

He slowly began reading all the messages. The more he read the more surprised he became.

Just as he read the the messages in the golden panel , and new panel with blue background appeared in the side.

As a guy who has read too many novels it didn't take him time to understand what it was. As soon he read the last message he subconsciously thought 'status'. Suddenly another blue panel appeared in from of his eyes.

' ohh, it really worked '

Ahhhhhh!

He had just started reading his stats when suddenly he heard a loud scream. This scream seemed so close that a chill ran down his spine. When he focused in his surrounding, the panels automatically minimized and he saw the interior of the hut. Inside the hut, dim light filtered through the thatched walls, revealing a humble interior. A lone spear rested near the gate.

Only now did he realise that he is in a completely unknown hut and he didn't know where he is. Seeing that he is in a hut, he confirmed that he must still be in the amazon rainforest.

There are still sound of screams and groaning coming from outside. He didn't dare to move or make a sound. He can recognise that these screams belonged to a human.

Soon the screams stopped, his mind calmed down a bit. He slowly stood up very carefully without making any sound. He proceeded with cautious steps, mindful to avoid any sound.

As he reached the gate, He cautiously peeked beyond the hut's gate, stealing a glimpse of the surroundings.

A gasp escaped him, eyes widening in sheer shock at the surreal and utterly bizarre sight unfolding before his eyes. He subconsciously took a step back. Outside the hut an unknown creature which looked like a rabbit but as big as a dog was devouring the flesh of a human. His heart pounded in his chest. The scene, surreal and nightmarish, etched itself into his consciousness, freezing him in a silent, horrified trance.

Startled, he took a step back, his shocked gaze fixed on the gruesome scene outside. Unaware of the spear lying behind him, his foot met an unexpected obstacle, and with an unintentional thump, he found himself seated on the hut's floor, the unexpected collision intensifying the shock already written across his face.

Abruptly lifting his head to check if he had alerted the creature, dread gripped him as he realized not only had he attracted its attention, but the enigmatic being was now hurtling towards him. The gap rapidly closed, a mere 30 meters now separating him from the oncoming threat.

' I am Fucked '

In a moment of fear-driven instinct, he shut his eyes tightly, his trembling hand inadvertently finding the spear he had stumbled on. Acting on pure survival reflex, he subconsciously gripped the weapon. Unaware of the narrowing gap, he suddenly raised the spear just as the creature loomed within 5 meters. A jolt surged through him as he felt the sensation of piercing something solid with the spear.

Slowly opening his eyes, a wave of relief washed over him as the realization of still being alive set in. As his gaze lifted, he found himself locking eyes with the blood-red orbs of the creature, an eerie rabbit-like figure. The spear, now stained with its blood, protruded from its neck, droplets dripping onto his body. A mix of relief and horror gripped him, prompting an instinctive reaction. Without a second thought, he flung the spear to the side, creating distance from the creature and ensuring his concealed position within the safety of the hut.
