"Elder, why did we come all this way to this barren land? This backwater place has so little qi, I feel suffocated." a young man asked the old man in front of him.
"Quiet boy! All this whining and crying. Do you ever shut up?" The elder roared back as an overbearing pressure crushed the young mans previous spirit.
"B-but grandfather, this trip has taken us months. We could have just sent a servant to do this! We don't need to come down to this shithole by ourselves!" The young man gathered his courage and retorted.
"Bah! I told you, call me elder! You can call me grandfather the day you bring honour to our name instead of the mediocrity you are so proud of. Tch, what did I do to get such useless descendants." the elder shouted back as he slapped the young man over his head and then pulled out a book and began reading, clearly signalling to not interrupt him further.
