Journey to the Land of Beasts

It soon became close to sunset, and Merlin was at home playing with his dog, that had grown to almost full size and it was faster now that he was grown. Rikusa walked behind him in his panda form, and wearing what seemed like hakama pants and no shoes. His mom came outside and saw them playing with the dog. "Ah you must be a new friend of my son. Nice to meet you, I'm Hydris, and this is our dog Cusith." she introduced. Rikusa introduced himself as well. "Hello. I'm Rikusa, and I'm a panda beastman. I live with my three brothers, who are not pandas." he said, still with the monotone in his voice. He explained he wanted Merlin to meet his brothers, since they were going to become a team tomorrow, and go to the Beastman Archipelago. He also mentioned how sexy Merlin looked, which made him blush and cover his muzzle. Hydris giggled and agreed with him, which made Merlin even more embarrassed, so he went to get his magick satchel so they could go to the archipelago. As they both walked, Rikusa asked strange questions. "So Merlin, if you were to believe in the love at first sight trope, and you were to imagine your mate, and a sort of date, how would it go and how would the person look for the date?" he asked. Merlin didn't exactly know how to answer that question, and just asked one of his own. "So, this land of-" he was cut off with Rikusa's finger on his mouth. "Merlin, I just want to say that, if I were to fall in love, the person whom would be my mate would be just like you. Down to the last detail, your beautiful hetero-chromatic eyes, lovely white hair, androgynous body. I don't believe that you would be someone without a harem. I would like to be the first in that endeavor if you would have me, I would even invite my brothers. They would take a very nice liking to you and your attractive personality." he said in a sort of serious tone, which made Merlin's face blush bright pink. He never heard someone speak like that. "And before you complain about incest, we're part animal and the rules for use are different for you. Not to mention, different world, different rules. I'm not ashamed to admit such things. All those over sensitive people from your previous world should really pull the massive stick out of their asses and accept that people are and will always be different, kinks are not to be shamed, and the LGBT spectrum is a multiversal force, there's no point in trying to subjugate it." he said before kissing Merlin's nose and leading him again. Merlin's face was just pure surprise that someone from another world would be so knowledgeable with otherworldly affairs. Or to admit his sexual kinks so openly.

About an hour had past, and it was dusk. They had caught an undersea train to the archipelago. They saw the reef, and G was sleeping upside down while he had an oyster shell on his chin. They made it after 30 minutes of looking at the beautiful reef, and Merlin saw hundreds of different beastmen. Crocodiles and alligators, cats, dogs, birds, bats, even chimeras and apes. There were so many he had lost track of which he was looking at. Rikusa led him to a forest area, where there were frogs, snakes, birds, and spiders all around. "It's very lively here, and the humidity is feels oddly comforting to me. I guess its just the vibe." he said. Rikusa went up to a large treehouse, and opened a door to reveal a regular looking home. There were some small bugs, but they stayed on the ceiling and hovered out of the way. Merlin was amazed how well kept it was, and how it smelled like scented candles. "Burble, Yorda, Diablas. I'm home, and I brought a friend." he somewhat yelled out. A large colorful hummingbird beastman came out, with his stunning green and blue feathers, a human face, avian forelegs, and forearms. He was covered in slick feathers, and had golden eyes. The second tallest was a leopard beastman, who was just a regular anthro leopard with spiky black hair going upwards. The third was a devil looking beastman, with orange horns, a goat head, and a buff looking body with demonic wings. "These are my brothers. We don't look the same but that doesn't matter. Genes can be a bitch. The hummingbird is Yorda, the devil is Diablas, and the leopard is Burble. We live on our own, our parents died in the War of Bifrost, and they know how to shapeshift. I don't do it often because I'm a panda. I'm adorable by default." Rikusa said as he grabbed a sandwich from a fridge. Merlin was still surprised by his boldness, and sat down on a wooden chair that was surprisingly comfortable and started to draw a bit. Burble sat next to him with a suspicious look, wondering what his baby brother saw in him. "Uh...hi there, I'm Merlin Pyrite. Your brother has some impressive skills, even though I never seen his magick yet but I'm sure it's pretty strong." he said, but Burble didn't say anything and kept up with the glare until Rikusa hit him over the head. "Don't make mean eyes at everyone I bring home. Seriously you look stupid and its ridiculous. Eat something." he said while eating a burger. Merlin didn't expect to see a panda eating meat, even though they were carnivores, they ate bamboo. Then Rikusa got a radio and a microphone, and invited Merlin to sing with him, which Merlin never thought of since in his previous life he wasn't all that good with singing. But he got up and went to sing with him. The song was Strawberry Letter 23, which Merlin knew well, but he didn't know that other universes knew songs, but music is a multiversal force as well so it was natural in that sense.

They both started to sing and dance, which Merlin was surprisingly good at, like he was doing ballet mixed with break-dancing. Rikusa had a smile on his face, which made Merlin smile, and when the song ended, they ended up in a position that almost looked like they were kissing. Yorda snickered, waiting for them to actually kiss, so Rikusa pulled Merlin's head forward and kissed him in front of his brothers, much to their surprise. Merlin's face was bright pink and he was essentially frozen in place while Rikusa was patting his back. "It's okay. That was my first too. See guys, he's good. So we're going to work together. You're assist summons so we need your totems. And maybe we can let Merlin spend the night since it's late so I'm gonna call his parents. I'll be back." he said, while Merlin was still frozen in place with his jaw wide open and his eyes completely blank.
