Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. 7. Chi (3): Synthesis of harmonious celestials

"Calm down, master." Juliet said and Silas just shook his head as he reviewed the methods again.

'First method is called celestial harmonics. I'll have to align my chi with the celestial bodies and attune myself to stars or planets. Meditating under specific astral configurations enhances my life energy. I don't understand but I get the fact that I'll grow stronger.'

'The second is through dream weaving. Experiencing dreams and shaping them enhances life energy within me.'

'Third method... Memory resonance. I'll go through my memories again, experiencing life... And increasing my life energy greatly. I wouldn't want to go through my memories.' Silas thought with a sad look and he looked at the fourth method which seemed as complex as the others.

'Harmony of emotions, I can chanel and refine my chi through emotion control. Each emotion corresponds to a different aspect of life energy; potency, amount, and limit.'

Silas seemed stressed out as he didn't know which one to pick. He put a hand on his chin as he began to ponder.

"Hey Juli--" Silas kept quiet as he opened his eyes and didn't see her in front of him anymore.

"Master "

"Oh, there you are." Silas said with a sigh as he turned around to see Juliet in new fancy... Armor.

She was dressed in a full body black armour which had thin metal, making it seem like it was on her body directly. The lines between the spaces in the armour glowed red and Juliet really looked like a war general right now.

"I just wanted to ask, is it possible to use all at the same time." Silas asked and Juliet frowned as she then raised her brows in surprise.

"I... I don't know. No one has ever tried it before." She said with so much uncertainty.

Hearing that, Silas smiled as he began to review all the chi cultivation techniques and then he began formulating a way to combine them by himself.

"Can you tell me more about the celestial bodies." Silas said as he looked at Juliet and she sat on the ground with him in a meditation position as she began to explain.

"So it's like this..."

...

Celestial bodies are natural objects in space that exist beyond heaven's atmosphere. These objects are part of the universe and they can be stars, planets, moons, asteroids, black holes, nebulae, galaxies, and comets.

Celestial bodies can awaken at a special time, and there are some that occur more frequently than the other.

For a cultivator, whether chi or Qi cultivator, they find the celestial body that suits their cultivation path through cosmic mapping.

Cosmic mapping is done through astral projection. A cultivator cultivates on the astral plane and his attuned celestial body would respond.

...

After a few hours, silas was looking at a small scroll in his hands with a smile.

'Its nice how I can write down things with the system notepad.' Silas thought as he wrote words in the air with the English he understood.

"It's finally done." Silas mumbled and he looked around to see that Juliet wasn't there with him at that moment.

Silas was suddenly stunned as an orange, transparent system virtual screen with words on it appeared in front of him.

[You have recreated a forgotten Chi cultivation technique, 'Synthesis of harmonious celestials']

Silas furrowed his brows as one word stuck in his eyes.

'Recreated?' Silas was confused as he shook his head.

"Must be another fluke from the system. The name seems nice, I'll keep it." Silas shrugged as he breathed out and closed his eyes.

'This cultivation method starts with harmonizing the seven main emotions and learn about them. The first emotion I'll go with is... Serenity.' Silas thought and then he began by breathing calmly.

Serenity means calmness and tranquility, to learn more about it and control it, that was his goal.

Silas suddenly felt something awaken inside him and he felt it growing stronger. He was calm, tranquil, no other thought in his mind at this moment as if he was well versed in being calm already.

After five minutes, Silas suddenly felt the energy that was growing hang in one particular point and then he felt refreshed and he opened his eyes and he looked around.

"Juliet." Silas called as he stood up.

He looked at his arms and he suddenly didn't feel stronger or anything.

"Master?" Juliet was in front of him as he looked forward and she looked at him with a confused expression.

His hair was now shiny silver in colour and his skin became clearer and more smooth.

"What?" Silas asked as he saw Juliet staring at him like a stranger.

"Your hair." Juliet said as she pointed to a corner where there was a very tall mirror and then Silas smiled as he saw his hair colour which was silver and then he nodded in approval.

"This would be good as no one would relate me to the beggar in the market." Silas said and he turned to Juliet again.

"I don't feel any stronger." Silas said to her in confusion and she nodded to him.

"Unlike cultivators, we don't have strength all the time. Only when we use chi by ourselves that we would feel the strength." Juliet said and she threw a punch forward.

"What was that for?" Silas asked as he tried to figure out the point of what she just did.

"Just watch." Juliet said and she threw her fists forward again, this time, she was faster and Silas, who was closer to her, felt a wind which shocked him as her hand suddenly appeared in front of his face. He also saw the air in front of her fist move and then he was amazed.

"Focus on moving your chi to different parts of your body. The more chi you have, the stronger attacks you can perform." Juliet said and Silas nodded as he closed his eyes and then controlled the chi that he felt in his stomach region.

With just a thought, it moved but it was resisting and wanted to go back and with concentration, he willed it to go to his fists.

"Wait. Let's go outside." Juliet said and Silas was confused and then he was taken out of the palace.

A creature ran towards them and Silas wanted to run but he found out that his feet were stuck to the ground.

"Juliet!" Silas shouted and then Juliet appeared before him.

"Use your chi on it. It's just a weak chi sensor." Juliet said as she jumped backward towards the doors and Silas gritted his teeth as he tried but he couldn't.

He breathed out as he moved the chi from his stomach and then he casted away all other feeling to remain calm...

He looked towards the incoming creature, and then he felt a sudden surge of strength in his arms and legs.
