CXXXIII. Time to Time.

Despite how fast Rowie's tiny paws tried to run, they were no match for the even faster tree-climbing rodent. Before he could reach the flat area before the frondous oak tree, the red squirrel had already climbed up to the lowest branch of it —which was separated by the floor for at least 7 feet of height.

The tiny animal looked down at Rowie, who stood upon his back paws and leaned his front claws on the bark of the tree, and it let out a tickling screech that sounded similar to human laughter.

"I didn't catch her!" The pup, playfully disappointed. "I'm still not fast enough…"

The huge wolf that he just met approached, and without sitting up, he stood three meters from him. "I am sure you will be one day a big dog that will run even faster than hares and bobcats." He said.

"Really?" The pup turned his head and tilted it. "I've always felt small. Especially since I'm always surrounded by gigantic humans. They are faster and stronger than me!"
