What She’s To Do
Even her diet had been changed. The meals she was used to back in Predor were no longer what she ate. Now, more proteins were pumped into her system and Simms could notice her body structure changing. She ate large portions she didn't think were possible and even wanted more afterward. Her appetite had grown and she was quickly becoming someone she didn't recognize.
"You will get two hours of rest and we will return to studying maps and strategies..."
Simms nodded.
"What was your job in your former kingdom?" Mistress Kara asked, interested in Simms's life before she was brought here. The girl seemed like she had facets to her and it intrigued Kara. She didn't think Simms would be able to achieve some of the feats she had achieved. Even though Kara believed people could do what they set their minds to, some people were too weak mentally to achieve certain physical heights. But this girl impressed Kara deeply.
