The Question
Later that evening, in the chamber that Seth and Ruby shared, different kinds of foods were served on a large marble table in the middle of the sitting area. Two musicians played the harp and more Charles had been lit and placed at strategic areas of the room. It gave the room a magnificent ambience and a serene aura.
Seth held Ruby's hand over the table with a smile on his face."I'm lucky to have you, Ruby..." he said.
She winked at him. Seth had been the one that set all this up and she wondered why. Ruby didn't want to ask him what it was all about so she remained silent even though curiosity was wearing away at her.
As she looked at his face, she wondered how she had struck gold agreeing to be by his side.
Ruby picked up her glass that had wine already and lifted it to Seth.
"Here's to many more years together... In love and with many kingdoms under our fingers!"
Seth nodded and lifted his glass as well.
