Seth Explains
Seth did not want any form of distrust to start brewing between him and his future wife. He needed their relationship to be as transparent as it could be. No secrets, no manipulation... just love and companionship forever. That was his dream for both of them.
Seth went down on one knee and thought about the question he was going to ask the princess before he goes ahead with what he wanted to do that night.
By this time, it was already midnight, and everywhere was quiet asides from their heartbeats. Seth could hear Ruby's own clearly, especially as he came to kneel beside her. Seth turned the chair Ruby was sitting on to face him directly.
"Look at me, Ruby"
Ruby acted like she did not hear what Seth had just said to her. She kept her gaze fixed on the fireplace that was on her far right.
