Why worry?

The twins’ mom was worried out of her mind. She sat still on a couch in the living room, but her mind was definitely not with her. Her boys had stayed out too long, and no one had told her about their movements. She had called countless times, but both numbers were unreachable.

She was more worried about the younger twin because of the mood he was in when he left the house, and also, he should normally have called, but he didn’t.

She calmed herself down with the thought that nothing could happen to them.

The sound of her phone ringtone interrupted her thoughts and dragged her back to reality. She grabbed her phone which sat beside her on the couch with high hopes that it would be one of them, but when she checked the caller ID, it was neither, rather, one of her colleagues at work.

“Hello Merit” she said as she answered the call.

“Hi Hilda, how are you today?” the voice came from the other side.

“I’m okay dear, you?” she replied
