Hesitant?

Leelam sat, his eyes shimmering in the dark, staring into space, while Archer paced around the room. Shania on the other hand, sat quietly at one end of the room staring at the both men.

“Is this what you meant when you said keeping Jaden here would cause our secret to be revealed?” Archer questioned Leelam.

“Yes” Leelam replied.

Archer shook his head negatively as he continued pacing about.

“I think we have a good option on our side, and it’s the only thing I think we can do” Leelam said, gazing intently at Archer.

Archer stared back at him. They both kept exchanging gazes before Archer tilted his head to the right side.

“No... no Leelam, no way” Archer said, waving negatively.

“It’s the only way” Leelam said, expressionlessly.

“Leelam, these people have done nothing but be good to me, I can’t just end their lives!” Archer complained.
