Acting upon a Crush. II

Emily sat, patiently watching Archer. She was supposed to get bored overtime, but she didn't.

"All good" Archer finally said, scanning the place with his eyes.

"What do you think?" He asked, smiling at her.

"Awesomely Fabulous, so can you sit now?" Emily quickly replied,

as she again drew the seat beside hers for him to sit on.

She had been equipping herself for the forthcoming question and answer session. Archer walked to take the seat, and turned the seat to face her.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" He asked, fixing his eyes on her.

"Well you don't have to stare at me like that" Emily complained uncomfortably. She was obviously shy.

"Sorry" Archer mouthed and lowered his gaze, smiling.

"So, my first question. Why do your lenses look weird?" She asked, peering into his eyes this time.

"Weird...?"

"Yeah, weird, strange, abn..."

"I know what it means" He cut in, waving her to stop talking.

"Well Emily, why are your lenses black?" He added.

"How am I supposed to know?" she asked, lifting a brow.

"So it's the same way I don't know why my lenses are weird ma" Archer defended.

"Ma? But regular lens colours are Black, brown or blue, and that's

even very rare, but yours is neither of them, it's freaking grey, or do I call this silver? Or ash? I just don't know" she said.

"I know right? I'm special" He said with a wide grin.

"Special indeed" Emily said, chuckling teasingly.

"Okay I think we've had enough to talk about my lenses, what else would you like to know?" he asked as he place his right elbow on the table and cupped his chin with his palm.

"Al...right... I will also like to know why you are always in that creepy Cloak"

"I'm always in it?" he said, smirking.

"Yeah, like all the time, whether hot or cold and I mean whether like whether whether and not weather cond..." Emily blabbered.

"...I get it" Archer interrupted, smirking.

"You know, the gatekeeper has these particular clothes on every day, why don't you ask him the same question?" he asked.

Emily face-palmed.

"You really have a way of getting away with questions don't you? It's his freaking uniform!" she yelled.

"And this is my uniform!" he answered back.

"At least he takes off his shirt once in a while when he's hot"

"My once in a while hasn't happened yet, and by the way, I'm not hot" he shrugged, still gazing at her.

Emily lifted her arms in surrender.

"Fine, I won't ask anything about your appearance anymore, you're just too secretive" she crossed her arms afterwards, and Archer chuckled.
