Avoid war

When old Grey got to the first gate he met with the second prince. He was putting on a black robe look graceful.

"Your highness," Old Grey climb down from his horse but he did not bow. The second prince raises his brows, he could see the difference in treatment.

"I have come to pay respect to my future father in law but I am held here," The second prince said he did not take his behavior seriously. He had received the message from old Grey.

The death of the king Lorenzo had something to do with his brother but his brother had not sent any men. He had invisigated the issue and indeed his brother was not lying but there seemed to be nothing wrong with the evidence that was sent by old Grey. Even if he was using his toes to think, he was sure that someone was deliberately setting up Dumbi against Gousho.

"Your highness, the king dead in the hands of his enemies. This is murder, the princess is in a bad mood, how can she still have the time to entertain your highness. Even the gates of a Dumbi is closed from visitors as we mourn our king," Old Grey said.

Prince Ethan nodded his head," The gate is close and the kingdom welcomes no outsider am I the future son in law considered an outsider? " he asked. It not that he did not understand that old Grey was sending him away politely but he wanted to know the princess stand.

"The prince father was murdered, it would be strange if she marry into the murdere family willingly," Old Grey said. He had not directly corrected the prince. The marriage was already agreed upon and could not be canceled without any reason.

Old Grey had used the word force to show the weakness of Dumbi and the strength of Gousho. It also showed the stand of the princess, she would not marry the prince by will.

So prince Ethan was left with two options, force the prince to marry him or give a satisfying explanation about her father's death.. If he wanted to force the prince to marry him, it would mean war. If he was going to proved a satisfying explanation he would have to provide the head of his elder brother or bring evidence to prove that the death of the king has nothing to do with him.

He knew all this but he did not want to take any of those part. Gousho had a few kingdoms they have been surprising for years. The Emperor was sick and his elder brother was weak. If he started a war at such a time with Dumbo, few enemies would join forces with Dumbi.

Although Gousho might win the war but the losses would outwiright the gain. He also could not kill his brother for the sake of marry a woman, especially when he knew he was not guilty of the crime.

Even if he was guilty, killing his brother would put the kingdom of Gousho into chaos. The last option was to provide evidence that the king's death had nothing to do with his brother. He had invisigated from his end and indeed his brother had nothing to do with the attack.

This time he wanted to enter the Palace so that he could invisigated from Dumbi. He believes in his heart that he would be able to find clues if he entered Dumbo but the princess was unwilling to grant him entrance.

"Send a message back to the princess, she should give me three months to send an explanation," After thinking everything though Ethan decided to go with this option.

When old Grey heard this he was relieved. Even if he knew that the princess wanted nothing but War, old Grey wanted to avoid it.

He had experience many wars in his life and he was just like the king, if war could be avoided then hr would avoid it.

"Thanking your highness on behalf of the princess for your understanding," Old Grey finally bowed his head before mounting his horse and leaving with his amuor bear.

He had chosen to deliver this message because he knew that presentation mattered a lot when it comes to such sensitive matters.

" Are we really going back? " The man would has been standing behind him.

"Yes, Dumbi had not giving us entrance," Prince Ethan said. His voice was flat. One could not tell if he was angry or happy.

"This is too much, Dumbi is just a subordinate kingdom. What makes them think they can treat your highness like this," The man was angry.

"Robert, keep calm," Prince Ethan frown his brows.

"Dumbi has flourish for many years, it's remind a subordinate kingdom out of Wil and for the sake of the oath that us three hundred years. Now that the king has been murdered, do you think that they would happily kiss our feet," Prince Ethan asked.

"Your Highness," Robert paused, he did not seem to understand what the second prince was saying.

"If Dumbi decides to make a move, it would be easy for them to get aliens. Even if Gousho does wins, the lost would outwiright the gain," he explained.

What he did not say was that the royal family of Gousho has been deliberately suppressing Dumbi for a few years. There was no guaranty who would win the war.

King Lorenzo did not want war, so he had accepted the marriage so that they could be peace. How could he not known that someone was deliberately sowing discord between the two kingdom.

The person would deliberately have something to gain. "But your highness did you not want to instigated the death of the king from Dumbi, if we can't get into the kingdom, how can we invisigated and give the princess and explanation in three months?" Robert asked after some thought.

Prince Ethan smiled, "The second prince of Gousho can not enter Dumbi, but the local can," he said as he mounted his horse. Rebort smiled, Indeed the prince could not be predicted.
