Charles had just gotten onto his bed in his quarters on this base when the Explosion happened.

'What the heck?!' He thought alarmed, as he abruptly stood up ramrod from the bed and quickly put on the things that he had just freshly taken off a few minutes ago.

Then he grabbed his mobile device and directly called the command center.

"What the fck is happening?! You people have got to have an explanation for me right this moment!" Charles said with an annoyed tone and slight anger as he truly felt tired right now after having to manage this base that is undergoing construction for quite some time now.

"Sir! I-its!" The subordinate on the other side of the call kept stuttering and seems to have something difficult to say.

"Just fcking say it already!" Charles shouted as his eyes got a bit cold and he quickened his moving pace towards the command center.

"Sir! It's Miss Haman!" The officer finally blurted it out.

"What about Haman?" Charles calmed down a little when he heard the officer mention a name he did not expect to be brought out at this time. "Was she caught in the explosion?"

Charles has some worries for this woman as she is someone who had been following him for a long time now, she is even mostly taking care of his little 'niece' who is the only living family he had now.

Thankfully, his niece is now quite big and is already going to a boarding school, or more like, boarding to a school that offers it, coincidentally, the school is in Heliopolis.

"She didn't get caught in the explosion, sir! Because she was the one who caused the explosion in the first place!" The officer directly said what he had to do just so his boss will directly know and not make any more assumptions or something.

Char paused for a bit after he heard that all of this was Haman's fault!

He had his eyes wide open and his mouth semi-open as he was just about to say something to the officer on the other side of the call when the officer directly said this information.

*Boom!

A third explosion happened which is also the strongest one so far.

It shook the whole base and the construction team that was only doing their job had already started panicking while hurriedly evacuating towards their ships while their ships had also started the preparation for detaching from the asteroid.

This third explosion and the strong shaking of the environment quickly woke up Char from his stunned state.

"What the fck! Is it truly Haman?! You guys prepare the evidence before I arrive! Also, alert everyone and issue the order for Haman's capture!" Char shouted as an order which is also heard by everyone on the other side of the call.

He only ordered capture because he still can't believe that Haman would do this kind of thing.

After all, she is the most loyal subordinate that he has, he is even willing to give his back to her in any dangerous situation.

Besides, he can't think of any motive for Haman to do this kind of betrayal.

Haman has been with him for quite a long time now and there hasn't been any indication of today's situation.

Meanwhile, his subordinates in the command center did what he ordered while thinking that their boss might still be thinking that Haman hasn't truly betrayed them yet.

But there is a video of it that they had managed to save and everyone in the command center had seen it happen personally.

Char quickly arrived at the command center and immediately asked for an update on the things that happened while he was on his way as he also looked at the monitors that showed different scenes of what is happening in the whole asteroid base.

"Sir, it seems that Miss Haman had some extremely loyal subordinates too and they joined her directly when she started destroying things in our base." said the person that has the current highest position in the command center right now as he moved beside Char who stood in the commanding position.

Char took a deep breath as another subordinate tried to hand a device and document that seems to be the evidence he asked for.

But all the things that are being shown right now on the monitors are already evidenced enough.

*Inhale, exhale

"tactical operator! Connect me to the public channel, I want to speak to Haman." Char said with a poker face in a very cold and neutral tone.

"On it, sir!" The subordinate answered and moved quickly. "You're on now, sir!"

"Haman! Give me a good reason why you are doing this and I might just forgive you if you promise to make up for all of it!" Char directly shouted with cold anger without changing his expression.

Although his expression wouldn't even be seen by anyone even if he lets it out because he is wearing his half-upper-face mask right now.

Haman directly connected to the public channel so she can answer.

Right, both channels are for video communication so both people are shown in a small UI on their respective screens.

"Charles! You are finally here!" Haman said venomously with bitter hatred in her eyes which is quite noticeable from how fierce looking she is in the camera.

Some people even thought that she might have gone crazy or something.

'As I thought, this bitch is super dangerous! I've felt it when I came to talk with the boss personally before!' A few individuals thought with thoughtful looks on their faces.

"Haman! Why have you betrayed our camaraderie!" A loud but deep voice was heard as another person joined the public channel.

The person is Ralph.

"You made me do this, Charles!" Haman shouted angrily towards Char with a crazy look on her face, she didn't even put any attention to Ralph.

The cold neutral look on Char's face broke when he heard that, as his mind raced to look for what the fck did he do.
