"Cough! About that..." AA faked a cough as he hurriedly thought up what to say. "Ermm... Right! Let's do it then, we are immortals anyway. We have so much time that we can take as much time as want on doing what we wanna do."

As he said that, he started the follow-up on where CC stopped earlier.

A bit over an hour later...

*Ding!

The notification sound of AA's mobile device was heard as the preparations are finally finished and it is now ready for use.

Just need to input the sperm and egg cells and the machine will put out all the options or someone can manually adjust the genetic makeup of the baby before the embryo is even made.

"Oh! It's finally done." AA said suddenly, breaking the silent atmosphere as they are taking a break after they had just finished having a session a few minutes ago.

"So what do we do?" CC asked excitedly and curiously.

"The right question would be, what should, I, do?" AA said with an arrogant smirk as he got dressed and took the two small containers that were placed in a safe corner.

One container was just an ordinary vial containing his sperm cells and the other is a syringe that was used to extract CC's egg cells.

I mean, no one can just directly take out some egg cells right?

Except for dead egg cells that will be brought out normally as waste in a girl's monthly period.

Anyways...

AA with CC following behind him got in front of the cylindrical aquarium-like machine.

Then AA manipulated the holographic interface of the machine and opened a small hatch by the side.

It's where the 'materials' should be inputted.

AA gently did that and then the machine hummed softly as it started taking some of the material to do a thorough scanning before the interface in front of AA changed automatically to show the normal gene adjustment options of humans/Coordinators.

Of course, AA isn't about to go for the normal options, so he tapped the manual option which made the interface change again to show a very complicated thing.

CC, who is just beside AA the whole time, understands a bit at the start and even felt that the gene-adjustment options before are like character-making in a game.

Just the general facial appearance has so many options to choose from but she still understands that even then.

But this manual adjusting is something else entirely.

She felt like she might vomit from dizziness if she continued staring at it and trying to understand it so she stopped and just moved her gaze to her man's handsome visage, especially now that he is very concentrated, looking so professional and confident while wearing a simple scientist white coat and his hair brushed straight up by his hand.

Although, his expression feels a bit wrong, even though he is smiling.

'Right, my hubby feels like a mad scientist right now.' CC thought as she continued observing AA as he did what he had to do first before needing her participation again if ever.

"Kukuku... Kuhahahaha!" AA suddenly started laughing loudly and villainously while raising both hands in the air a bit, palms and fingers open and parted facing upwards, like a true villain.

'Scratch that! He is a mad scientist, alright!' CC thought again with a twitching face. 'Wait... Is he truly preparing to make our baby or what? I dunno, I feel like he wants to do something to our supposed baby. What to do?!'

It took a few moments but AA finally stopped laughing villainously.

"So... Why did you laugh like a third-rate villain from some third-rate cartoon or movie?" CC asked just to make sure there will be nothing wrong happening to her first baby, even though her face is twitching and the fires of wrath is threatening to come out immediately if she heard something wrong from AA's explanation.

"Well... Hehehe..." AA laughed awkwardly while scratching his head. "I just suddenly felt like doing that. Can't I? Hahaha!"

'Yeah, I wouldn't ever say that I already manually set most of the adjustments so that our baby would be like the so-called strongest coordinator.

Being able to learn everything and anything as long as he/she wants to and having a body that is capable of using everything he/she learns.

From now on, this will be one of the secrets that I wouldn't ever say to anyone for at least until the kid becomes an adult and asks how he was different.

Although, I don't think he will ever ask anything about that as even Kira Yamato did not ask anything of his parents as he grew older in the original series, or maybe, it's only because he did not bother making use of his excellent learning ability as much as possible so all the achievements that he managed to accomplish up until before he piloted a Gundam did not seem much different from the average coordinator.' AA thought seriously without changing his expression one bit.

"Really?" CC asked with narrowed eyes as she looked closer at AA for a moment before breathing out and returning to her calm face then asked. "Then do I need to do anything? Because if I only gave some egg cells as my participation in making our baby then I would feel less, less... Something! Just remember that I want to do more!"

'Damn it! It's so embarrassing to suddenly forget the right word! It's at the tip of the tongue but it just wouldn't come out!' CC thought with annoyance before she started thinking of something more serious.

'Anyway. It's might seem like the adjustments to our baby isn't that important as long as the baby can live like a normal person.

And that is also right to some extent.

But the thing is...

We, the parents, aren't exactly normal you know.

So I have already thought of making our baby good at something or most things.

Just have to make sure that there wouldn't be complications, so avoiding anything excessive is a must because that might cause the said complications.'
