Prince Clovis is now being called back to Britannia because of his folly and failure.

There is only some kind of temporary order given to the people left in area Eleven to only do the daily things and not make any more waves.

But some people are not satisfied with that because they felt that this failure of Prince Clovis is a great shame and it needs to be washed away with the blood of the rebels.

These people are the Purist faction, currently being headed by our beloved resident 'Orange', Jeremiah Gottwald.

There are no other bigger purist faction figures in area Eleven so they made Jeremiah the temporary leader.

Anyway, they all decided that it is best to lure out those rebel 'scums' by using their captive in a public execution.

In some abandoned warehouse.

"Kallen! Did you see the news?!" One of the rebel members asked as he saw Kallen 'Kozuki' arrive.

"Yeah, I will save him!" Kallen said with gritted teeth and a clenched fist. "It's alright even if you guys don't plan to, I will do it, even if I'm alone."

"Don't be rash Kallen! Don't worry, we will surely save Naoto but we have to make a plan.

You can't be impulsive right now, your brother wouldn't want you to save him in exchange for yourself or anyone of us.

He is our leader after all." Ohgi said with determination and seriousness.

"That's right! We will never abandon the leader! We will certainly save him!" Tamaki said with his loud and rowdy voice filled with righteous anger.

Some people might be puzzled about who this Naoto guy is or where did he even come from and why he was caught by Britannia.

If anyone had forgotten, I am just going to remind you.

It's the guy that was left in the truck that carried the supposed 'poison gas'.

Lelouch did manage to give him some first aid using the things in the truck and the things that he got on himself(none) and when Lelouch had to escape with Suzaku, this guy was taken by the Britannian forces as a captive for getting more information.

They did not bother to try and silence him because he did not see what was inside the supposed 'poison gas', he is lucky for surviving because of that.

Besides, most of the higher-ups thought that he is just an insignificant grunt in the rebel group because of being just a driver, they all thought that the Knightmare frame pilot that confronted the police before the battle in the slums was a more important figure and of course, the real leader should be the one who was giving orders to the leader which defeated Britannia in that said battle.

Most of the higher-ups think that the battle was lost even though Suzaku won in the end because their pride and honor won't accept such a thing as a win which is also why Clovis is called back to Britannia, especially since Lloyd himself and his 'crew' is categorized as an independent unit that had the power to mobilized itself if conditions are right.

To the higher-ups, Clovis lost and Lloyd won, so it is Lloyd's merit.

Now, Clovis even lost what made the battle happen in the first place.

He has no backup for all the things inside the supposed 'poison gas' and it was taken by Lelouch.

Lelouch hid that thing somewhere first and then got it back when the situation in the slums abated.

Onto Lelouch.

Lelouch had just finished watching the replay of the news reporting about the supposed execution of the 'terrorist', Naoto Kozuki.

He was busy earlier playing a virtual reality game made by AA.

This game had become a part of his routine now because it was one of the only safe outlets for him to practice his combat skills, Lelouch prefers not to show his good physical qualities to most people.

This news though got him into deep thought.
