An hour or a little less earlier...

Everyone at the airforce base was shocked when they saw this unknown mobile suit especially since the first Mobile suit, the Union Flag, had just been created and is being tested right now, in this same place.

Most of the high-ranking officials had their brows already creased to the max, all the reporters and cameraman are doing their thing.

The military officers on the site are following their protocols already while the high-ranking ones kept chilling while looking from the bleachers, they are very calm but very serious.

Especially the two people at the far back, on the top of the bleachers.

The alien-like mobile suit is still floating a few feet from the ground.

As people continued to observe the machine, they started noticing this specific detail which made the people show even more shock and the officials uglier as if they had eaten something too bitter or sour, some are even looking like they had eaten very spicy food and is having a hemorrhoids problem.

Inside the unknown white mobile suit.

"Setsuna F. Seiei, Gundam Exia, commencing operation." The pilot in a blue piloting suit and a tinted helmet said in a neutral tone before starting to make a move.

"Ha! Are you finally going to make a move?!

This Patrick Colassour, the future Ace pilot, is going to take your fancy robot down, with my proud Union Flag!" The pilot of the Union flag that had just finished its demonstration spoke through the open speakers which were heard by everyone.

Many rookies have their moods lightened up when they heard that but in truth, even Patrick himself knows that based on how high-tech this machine showed itself, the chances of even putting up a fight might be very low.

He is even sweating cold sweat all over his body right now, he is now feeling very nervous especially since many people had high expectations from him.

His idol, his superior officer, his teachers, his comrades, and almost everyone he knows.

This is the first time that he is feeling the burden of being recognized by everyone, he can't show anything less right now.

'Must go all out! Even if I die, I have to at least take an arm from this machine!' Patrick thought inwardly as he grinned nervously with his hands trembling a little.

Even though he is truly not a rookie anymore after participating in some general military operations, he still can't help it.

He is now representing the whole country.

The world will know what happened here in just a few days or less!

And so, he met this white mobile suit in a semi-head-on battle!

He did not dare to collide and contend with strength by exchanging blows.

He directly thought about dodging more and only attacking when he is a hundred percent sure of hitting the enemy.

The white mobile suit moved forward while still floating, which made people dilate their eyes from another shocking thing.

This machine can move freely while floating in the atmosphere!

What the fuck!

Although it did not move that fast, it is still as fast as a running mobile suit.

Patrick though did not bother thinking about this kind of thing as he quickly concentrated.

His only thoughts are to fight until his machine gets destroyed!

As long as he can fight, he won't stop!

The two machines took out their swords.

The unknown white machine had its folded blade stretched out while the Union Flag took out the sword in its back.

Although this Union Flag looks the same as the Union Flag in the Gundam 00 franchise, its weaponry is not the same.

It has a sword proportional to its size, placed on its back instead of the original dagger.

The sword is an English word, that looks like a claymore in design, it is simple, plain, and easy to use.

Both swords are sonic weapons, meaning, vibration swords.

But there is a difference in technology!

The one used by the Flag unit started letting out a high-frequency sound that can be heard by human ears so it was a bit irritating and even damaging to humans if you are up close while the white mobile suit's sword did not even show any signs of vibration, where would the sound come from?

This is what everyone thought, as they think that the enemy's sword isn't a vibration sword type of weapon.

They thought that it might have other technology or it might have a better material instead of underestimating it though, especially the two people at the far back in the bleachers.

Then the two machines collided with their swords, thankfully for Patrick, he did not even think about contending in an exchange of blows.

His thoughts were to parry the enemy's sword directly with his own.

This saved his life as his sword had a chunk cut off of it, it can't be used now.

If he had blocked that sword directly to have a direct exchange then the enemy would have chopped his machine in half, from top to down.

He escapes that fate by parrying and moving sideways, although he can't continue with his plan of attack because he planned on using his sword to strike again at the start but now, it is unusable.

So he quickly took out two daggers from the thighs of his machine.

Setsuna on the other hand, showed a slightly surprised expression as he did not expect this enemy pilot to be more cautious, he first thought that this mission would be finished with just a single exchange but this is fine too.

This will allow him to perfectly show the strength of his Gundam.

He then quickly recovered from that brief surprise and readied himself to be more serious so he had made his Gundam land on the ground to have a proper foothold.

Everyone knows that you have to have a proper foothold to exert more strength when fighting melee.

While he was floating, he could only make use of the arm strength of his machine.

The two people at the far back of the bleacher had already disappeared from their earlier position, after they saw the start of this confrontation, they quickly moved towards the hangar of this airforce base.
