AA took out a spray bottle that had something in it and a piece of cloth from the duffle bag he brought from his mansion.

He sprayed into the cloth and then signaled to the two ladies.

He quickly got into a guard's back that they encountered on their way before using the piece of cloth to cover the guard's mouth and nose to knock him out and then bring him back into the basement.

The two ladies watched the surroundings from AA's back as they took glances at AA who is tying up the guard after taking off the uniform.

AA then wore the uniform himself as a disguise before looking at his phone again to check the real-time position of the guards in the mansion.

The three of them quickly move to get another two sets of uniforms for Marianne and CC.

The three of them then felt more assured of the smoothness of their plan after doing that so they started speeding up a bit and made their way to Nunnally already.

They quickly got Nunnally although there was a small problem because of the two guards just outside the room where Nunnally is but a taser gun and electric baton solved everything.

They had to move back faster this time though.

As it would not take much time before the two unconscious fellows were found and the other three unconscious fellows in the basement will be noticed by others missing for some time now.

"Quick!" AA shouted as they got into the basement.

The three fellows that donated the uniforms to them are already awake, they are tied up with gags on their mouths but they are still furiously trying to move.

One of the three is a regular guard of Marianne though, he was personally assigned by Marianne to the squad that guards her daughter.

This guy is Jeremiah, yeah.

It's that guy who was code-named orange by Lelouch in the canon when he saved Suzaku Kururugi.

AA and the two ladies are just in time as the guards started noticing them and have already started pinpointing their location even after AA hacked the surveillance cameras to not show them on the screens in the surveillance control room.

The guards had only started moving into the basement when they got into the cart and started going away with Nunnally who remained quiet along the way.

What a good girl.

"You okay, baby?" Marianne asked Nunnally as she hug her with one arm while bracing herself in the cart with the other.

"Yes, mom." Nunnally answered softly.

"That's good. We are going far away right now.

We might not be able to meet your big brother personally for a long time.

But don't worry, we will make calls often.

You will also meet Lacus, Euphemia, Dragneel, and the others again too." Marianne said with a warm smile on her face as she finally relaxed a little more.

'Sigh...

I want to get Lelouch too but I do not want to sound unreasonable to AA.

He already explained about my little boy being safe here in Britannia and I know that too, I just can't help but worry though.

I am his mother after all.

And he is still a little boy right now.

How would he take the news that he might not meet us again for a long time or ever?

Charles might just up and say that we, mother and daughter, are already dead.

Worse is if Charles makes me a fugitive together with AA but that would only cause unrest to the populace and that is something no one wants.

Sigh...' Marianne thought inwardly and she caress her daughter's hair.

After a few minutes, they got back into AA's mansion.

AA got information that their deeds in Marianne's mansion had already been reported to Charles and now the security on Lelouch is getting strengthened again while a Knightmare frame is even getting sent into his mansion right about now from the palace.

It would only take a few minutes for the Knightmare frame to arrive.

Quite a few mobile armors are patrolling the air space to try to prevent AA from using the sky as an escape route out of Britannia.

In fact, the whole city is on a lockdown already.

AA then showed everything that is happening outside to Marianne and CC with his phone.

CC did not have any reaction though as she is still quite dazed, a slight furrowing of her brows did appear which AA saw and he was quite weirded out by CC's super minimal reaction right now but he just let it go for now.

Marianne had a grimace though as even though she trusts AA to have a means of an escape for them, she still thought of how she would be able to escape if she planned everything by herself, the grimace is because she cannot think of anything other than boarding her exclusive Knightmare frame and killing her way out.

She is still the current strongest pilot in the world right now after all.

No one would be able to stop her when she pilots her Empress knight.

But she also would not be able to bring her daughter along if she did that.

"Sigh..." Marianne sighed with relief after a few seconds of thinking.

"Let's go!" AA said with energy, a bright smile, and a slight smirk together with raised eyebrows as he saw Marianne's sigh of relief.

AA then led the way to another hidden entrance to another tunnel in his basement.

This time, there is already a rail cart waiting for them as this is the escape route that AA prepared for his mansion.

He just connected every important place into his mansion using underground tunnels for convenience's sake and boredom.

"Where are we going this time?

Are we finally getting out of Britannia?" CC said, finally managing to reboot her brain up to normal function but all the feelings and other thoughts are suppressed and only to be tackled later when they are in a safe place already.

"Yeah, I am going to say it now but our final goal is space, are you fine with that?" AA asked her with a slight smile as he thought that CC might want to go somewhere else on her own.

"That's fine, I haven't gone up into space yet, it will be a new experience, it seems." CC said with a slight smile as it is really hard to experience something new for someone like her.
