Uninvited

Liam looked over the message with his wide smile still on his face, showing his teeth. He packed away his studying things into a box that was on the floor. He got up from his bed, on which he was studying because he doesn't have a desk, and walked out of the room to inform Kreese he was going out. But it turns out Kreese got a very similar message from Johnny. They both left the house and quickly met up with the other Cobra Kai members. Liam was given a black gee with the Cobra Kai logo on the back. He and the others changed in preparation to crash Miyagi-Do's karate demonstration.

About an hour later the announcer on the main stage at Valley Fest was giving an introduction to Miyagi-Do karate. "And next up we have a karate demonstration done by Miyagi-Do karate brought to us by the LaRusso auto group!" The female announcer said as she raised one of he hands in the direction of the LaRusso auto group's stage. Their stage was dark, and at night this made it difficult to see, then suddenly a soft light shone showing the silhouette of three individuals. Looking towards the stage on the left was a feminine figure, on the right was a young man's figure and in the centre was a mature man's shape. They performed a sequence of moves with quiet Japanese music playing as they did so. After a moment of this they finished and the lighting change and the older man used a bow staff to weakly combat the other two as they blocked and dodged.

After another moment they stopped and the older man, which was Mr LaRusso, spoke loudly to the crowd "and now for the finale we'r-" he was cut of by the lights suddenly cutting. "Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai!" A chant was being repeated as a double file line of the Cobra Kai students jogged towards a stage, all dressed in black gees. Lights were directed at them as they ran. When they got to a stage they did a very performative demonstration with lights and smoke drawing all attention away from the Miyagi-Do's and instead to the stage they were on.

After a couple activities like breaking boards and showing they techniques they broke out into a free for all. Liam was in the middle casually as six other students including Hawks circled him. They all suddenly pounce trying to defeat him by attacking him together but he skillfully and powerfully blocked and countered causing all of them to fall to the floor, but a couple moments later they got up though they were sore.

Their entire performance ended with Johnny smashing a stack of flaming concrete slabs straight down the middle with a downward punch. After his display all the Cobra Kai students got on the stage with Johnny and took a bow and stood up with pride. Liam looked over to the control booth where Kreese was, as he was directing the lights, and nodded. Kreese nodded back as he looked at both of his greatest students with satisfaction. Johnny and Miguel exchanged some quiet words.

The next day at around noon Liam was training his strikes on a standing punching bag as Kreese watched through the office window doing menial things. There was no class right now and they were just here to fill time till the class begins in a couple hours. Liam's back was to the door. A chime rang out indicating the door has opened. Liam stopped his rhythmic hits as he turned to the one who entered. The one who walked in was Demetri, Liam knows him through Hawks and Miguel, as well as seeing him in school before. Demetri slowly walked up to the Matt, placed his bag on the floor and took of his shoes. Kreese walked out of the office as he and Liam just watched the scrawny boy talk.

"I've got some ground rules, I prefer to take a flag-football approach to my Karate training. Ideally learning to hit or kick without actually being hit or kicked. Part and parcel with that, I have a bit of a thing with personal space. The other Cobras are just gonna have to accept that." Liam slowly walked up to him, stopped half a metre away and said "so you want to learn karate without learning karate? Are you stupid? Never being hit and learning karate is almost impossible, only possible for a select few, do you even have what it takes?" Kreese had his arms crossed as he nodded agreeing with Liam's assessment. Demetri responded almost obnoxiously "sure I can learn karate if it means I don't get hit." Liam looked Demetri in the eyes as Demetri stared into his blood red, almost mosaic like, eyes. Demetri asked kind of rudely in curiosity seeing his eyes "do you were contact lenses? The design doesn't really show unless if you are really close and red is a very uncommon eye colour you should probably switch to blue it will match your black hair."

Liam turned away from Demetri, sighing in anger as he rubbed the bridge of his nose to calm down "no these are my actual eyes, why would I wear contacts when my vision is perfect. *sigh* your not Cobra Kai material, but if you disagree with my assessment we can have sensei Kreese test you." He directed his hand towards Kreese as he then walked back to the bag, though this time he struck it erratically with solid blows. Demetri was a little frightened by Liam's actions and gulped, he then turned to Kreese worried but a little relieved Liam wasn't focused on him. He looked Kreese over as he walked towards him. He looked at the old man and saw the tattoo on his arm. Demetri commented on the cobra tattoo, saying it was anatomically incorrect. Liam stopped hitting the bag and sent a scowl Demetri's way, as Demetri and Kreese stared at each other, Demetri grabbing his arm. There was a silence, until *thud* Kreese struck Demetri square in the nose.

Demetri fell back and clutched his nose, looking up at Kreese like a deer in headlights, he was afraid. He quickly scurried out, picking up his stuff, watching Kreese and Liam to see if they would make a move against him. They only looked at him like predators, analysing his movements. He ran out the door with drive, though that drive was for running away, true cowardice. Liam turned to Kreese impassively and stated in an unconcerned tone, "I knew he wasn't Cobra Kai material" he then turned back to the bag and continued punching as Kreese turned to his back and smirked.

'He truly is perfect' Kreese thought briefly but then he returned to what he was doing in the office. Around an hour later Johnny comes and starts preparing for his class, and this time there were going to be new applicants that wanted to join Cobra Kai due to their performance at Valley Fest. And half an hour after Johnny arrives the students came in and the class started.
