The next day,
I paid Sam a visit when she texted me that she was still at the Hospital.
"So, what do the reports say?" I asked after we talked about what happened yesterday.
"The reports are fine." Sam replied with a Sam smile, "But this is probably going to leave a Scar." she said by showing three long markings on her right arm.
"Well, those could be considered a sign of a warrior if you think about it." I stated to cheer her up, "When are you getting discharged?"
"Dad is getting the paperwork done, so probably soon." Sam replied and then looked nervous, "Did you find out anything about Robby?"
"No." I shook my head, "Nobody's heard about him since yesterday and he's still missing. He's probably scared of the cops after what he did."
Sam lowered her face in shame, "I can't believe so much happened in a single day." she sighed, "Even Mom was saying that she won't let me do Karate anymore."
"That's nonsense." I stated in a mild shock.
"What's nonsense, Alex?" I heard Amanda's voice behind, and by her tone, I could tell she heard me.
I turned around at her on my stool and faced her, "Sam has been doing Karate since she was a child, if I am not wrong." I replied, "She has also placed so much efforts to come this far."
"And see where it has brought her." Amanda gestured at Sam as she answered me.
"Teenagers make mistakes." I stated by pursing my lips, "This is one of those mistakes."
"Say whatever you want to say, old man." Amanda scoffed, "But I am not letting my daughter do Karate again."
"Fine." I ended the argument by responding with a small shrug and turned back to Sam, "I hope you're happy with this."
"You talk a lot, you know?" Amanda said by narrowing her eyes at me.
"What can I say? I love to hear my voice." I replied with a chuckle, "No hard feelings, Mrs Larusso, I am just concerned for my friend."
"I can tell." Amanda replied with a smirk and ruffled my hairs, "I'll go and check how long it's going to take." She said to Sam, before she walked out of the room.
"My mom likes you." Sam grinned at me after Amanda left.
"And why does that matter?" I questioned with a scoff, "Many people like me."
"You really have to argue back all the time, don't you?" Sam narrowed her eyes at me, "I think it's a part of your personality. You're like an rebellious child who won't agree to what someone says and thinks to know that he knows everything."
"So wise." I complimented her with dramatic claps.
Sam played along with my act and bowed her head in gratitude while laughing cheerfully.
I chose to spend more time together with her to keep Sam company, until she was finally discharged from the hospital.
Although before leaving, Mr Larusso approached me to have a private talk.
"I won't be able to train you guys at the Miyagi-Do for a few days." He came straight to the point, "After what happened at the school, everyone's messed up. There's Sam, then the missing Robby."
"I can understand, Mr Larusso." I said with a small smile, "You can call me if you need any help, okay? I'll be there."
"Thank you for understanding the situation." Daniel sighed in relief and shook my both hands in his hold, "You can visit Sam at Home whenever you want, okay? I can tell that she feels safe around you, even if you guys argue most of the time."
"Sure." I nodded at him with a light chuckle.
He patted my back and went back to his family, who were taking Sam to the car. Sam looked at me before entering the car and smiled at me.
I smiled back at her and went towards my Bike. Miguel was still in the ICU, so there was no chance I could visit him.
~
Two weeks since the school Incident,
I had not stopped working on my Martial arts training and had even bought gears, such as a punching bag, weights and other Gym equipments to workout at home.
After two weeks of intense workout sessions everyday, my physical strength had surpassed my previous limits and reached new heights. And not only did I work on my strength, my Stamina and Agility improved a lot as well.
And though Miyagi-Do had temporarily closed, the same could not be said about Cobra Kai. Situation at Cobra Kai had gone more worse, because Johnny Lawrence was no longer the Sensei and Kreese had captured the entire Dojo, along with its students.
The only good thing that happened in these past two weeks was, Tory was no longer Expelled from the school and was normally suspended for two weeks like the other students.
Sophia had worked her charm and convinced the Principal to let Tory stay. Unfortunately, the same could not be said about Robby, since he wasn't even found yet and was still on the run.
After two weeks, the school was reopening for the suspended students. And to prevent the same situation from happening again, the school had hired a lot of security guards to keep a watch on the corridors and the students.
[You have leveled up.]
'Finally!' I shouted in my mind as I fist pumped in the air and celebrated my breakthrough to a new level.
My progress might have slowed down due to the temporary close of Miyagi-Do, but I had not let that bring me down.
"Status." I exhaled heavily as I wiped the sweat off my body with a wet towel.

'Level 3, let's go baby!' I cheered in joy by clenching my fist.
I was surprised when someone rang the doorbell of my house, "Who is it at this time?" I muttered under my breath as I went to the door and opened it.
Not many people knew my address, but Sam was one of the few people who knew where I lived. She had come to hangout at my home once during the past two weeks.
"Ins and Outs." Sam said cheerfully by holding up a bag of burgers and drinks, "I figured you would need snacks."
"So came here all the way to bring me burgers for breakfast?" I stated with an amused chuckle, "Shouldn't you be at the school right now?" I realised the day today and suspiciously narrowed my eyes at her.
"Can we talk inside?" Sam said with an uncomfortable expression, "I would also suggest you wear something than just your boxers." She shyly pointed out by rubbing her neck and looking away.
"Oh, yeah." I smiled embarrassedly as I realised my current condition and quickly went inside, "Close the door." I said by rushing towards my room.
"You were working out?" Sam asked in a confused tone as she stood outside my room.
"What's wrong with working out?" I asked as I came out of the room, with a towel now wrapped around my waist.
"How do you think I maintain these sexy abs?" I pointed out by raising my eyebrow at her.
Sam stared at me for a moment and did not say anything.
"Hello, World to Sam." I waved my hand in front of her face, "You good?" I asked as she came out of her stupor.
"Yeah." She nodded at me.
"Good." I smiled back, "I'll go take a shower and in the meantime, you can sit in the living room and watch TV or something." I said and entered into the bathroom.
When I got out of the shower with a fresh vibe around my body, I saw Sam practicing her moves at the punching bag in the living room.
"You know, we could've spared if I had a Dojo mat and enough space in the living room." I said with a smile as I leaned against the wall by folding my hands.
"Alex!" Sam blushed as she called out my name, since she was caught in the act.
"Can't stop yourself from doing Karate, can you?" I chuckled in response, "Don't worry, I won't snitch on you to Mr Larusso or your Mom."
"Can we please talk after you get properly dressed?" Sam requested with her cheeks flushing red in shame, "Are you nudist?" She frowned at me.
"Hey, I have a towel around me, okay? That's not nude!" I whined, "Oh." I mischievously smirked at her, "Don't tell me~"
"Get. Dressed." Sam ordered strictly with a frustrated glare.
"My house, my rules~" I grinned by resting my arm on my waist, "You're the one bunking school here."
"I am not bunking school!" Sam frowned in disbelief.
"Oh, so that means Mr Larusso knows that you're here." I said by picking up my phone from the table.
But before I could say anything else, Sam rushed at me and tired to snatch my phone away.
"That's the problem with short girls." I grinned at her as I held my phone high in my right hand.
"Alex, no!" Sam yelled at me with an anxious look, "This is not a joke, okay? You can't call my Dad. He's already dealing with so much after all that happened!"
"Tch." I clicked my tongue and handed her the phone, "Here. You really had to play the emotional factor, didn't you? You always do that."
"Hm." Sam victoriously grinned at me as she showed me the phone in her hand, "And it always works."
"Now get changed." Sam said by pushing her hand my chest and walked away with my phone.
"Ugh." I groaned at my defeat and went to my room, to dry up and get dressed.
I came out of the room after getting dressed up and saw Sam going through my phone. In curiosity to see what she was doing, I used my stealth to sneak at her from behind the couch.
I could not believe what I saw, because Sam was going through my Facebook and all the chats, even the ones with the nudes.
"Sam."
She was startled when I called out her name like a Ghost, "Fuck, Alex! You scared me!" She angrily slapped on my shoulder.
"And what were you doing?" I asked with an raised eyebrow as I sat next to her, "Going through my Facebook?"
"I wanted to know.." Sam nervously looked away.
"Know what?" I pressed on to her response.
"Know if you're dating someone." Sam answered me with a frown and showed me the nudes that Moon had sent me, "And apparently, this is what's going on!"
"Hey, no need to yell at me, okay?" I said in a neutral tone, "It's not like I ask her to keep sending me her naked photos. If you can check again, you would see that I have not even sent her a message yet."
"But you do save these photos." Sam said by showing me the same photos that I had in my gallery, "Pervert."
"Yeah, I'm the Pervert." I admitted with a smile and argued back, "Though, am I the one who cheats on her boyfriend with her Ex?" I asked with an raised eyebrow.
"Coming here was a mistake." Sam said as she got up all of a sudden and wanted to leave, but I stopped her by grabbing her wrist.
"Let me go." Sam glared at me with tears filling her eyes, "Let me go!" she yelled at me and started sobbing the next moment.
"The truth hurts, right?" I said in a soft tone and pulled her back towards me, "I didn't mean to hurt you, okay?"
"But you did." Sam cried, "You had to bring up what happened that day. I was drunk, I don't know what I was doing."
"You were not that Drunk." I scoffed with a roll of my eyes, "Now sit. You did bring snacks for me, after all. I am not going be an asshole and let you go. Your father would probably kill me if he knows you bunked at my place and then I made you cry."
"Then maybe I should tell him about it." Sam replied as she sniffed and wiped her tears off.
"See? That's the problem with you!" I pointed out to her face, "You're an hypocrite! You don't hesitate to use emtional threats, but you will start crying if someone does the same to you."
"It wasn't the same, okay?" Sam said by narrowing her eyes at me, "I am girl, you're a boy. And yes, I am being a sexist. I have all the rights to do so."
"The American citizen rights?" I snorted in disbelief, "Just shut up, okay? Open that burger before it gets anymore cold."
"Can't you just heat it in the oven?" Sam dramatically shaked her head at the obvious suggestion.
"I am too lazy for that." I replied with a bright smile.
"Ugh. You're unbelievable." Sam got up with the bag of burgers and headed towards the kitchen.
"Not too hot, okay?" I shouted.
"I am going to burn yours!" Sam shouted back.
"No, you won't." I chuckled as I picked up the remote from the table and turned on the TV.
