Run
"Run" Getrax shouted at the top of his voice because of the fear of what they had just seen.
The alien in front of them was gigantic, they looked like the size of rats in front of it. The alien lower half looked like the legs of spiders and when one looked at it's upper body one could see a human figure; female to be prescise, the entire skin was dark blue.
"Run faster" Edmund shouted at James inside their head.
Just by looking at the creature, one could tell it was really terrifying. James had never been this scared, even Getrax was terrified of the creature and also the little boy too was also scared.
The small boy was still in Getrax's metal arm as they all ran without looking back.
"Shouldn't we go into one of the rooms for safety?" the boy said.
"I'm not sure we need to do that, and we don't know what's still behind any of these doors," James and Getrax remarked at the same time.
They could hear the monsters moving closer and closer as the thing got closer to them.
James suddenly mustered the guts to turn back and bring his hands forward, bringing those blue energy with him and striking the beast.
The blue energy that was very hot and powerful when it came into contact with other creatures had no impact on this beast. Not even a scratch appeared on its body.
"Argh" the beast shouted as he moved more faster towards them.
"You shouldn't have done that" Getrax shouted at James.
They continued running, the fear of being devoured by the gigantic monster behind them fueled their speed. The area was a big place and they kept on running. Even with their full speed, it will take sometime before they would eventually reach the end.
"We have to enter one of these doors" James said in a panicked tone.
"But what if we open the wrong door" Getrax replied.
"We have no choice" James said.
James opened one of the doors by his right, when he looked inside he could see nothing but darkness, he wanted to decline entering because it was too dark, but Getrax had already pushed him because the gigantic alien was already close.
Getrax immediately closed the door behind them. They were now inside a really dark room nothing could be seen, they could not even seen each other.
MUNCH***MUNCH***MUNCH***
The sound of something eating could be heard. This sound brought fear to all of them in the room.
"What was that" The little boy whispered.
Getrax and James did not reply because they did not know what that was.
MUNCH***MUNCH***MUNCH***
The sounds of chewing continued.
"Who is there" James shouted into the darkness in front of him. James, Getrax and the little boy all that that James's shout was a foolish act to do. They did not know what was inside this dark room with them so shouting at the unforseen was not a good idea.
There was no response from the creature.....The once dark room started glowing as a blue light was coming from a source which was at the center of the room.
The blue light came from a creature who was currently eating metal. The blue light started to emante from the creature's body immediately it stood on its two legs instead of four. The creature looked also gigantic but not as gigantic like the half human half spider monster they had just seen earlier.
The beast or alien or monster in front of them looked like a regular brown bear from Earth but it had huge wings like that of an eagle that looked like they were made of metal. it's body was shinning brightly blue instead of brown like his skin colour.
The trio immediately seeing this terrifying creature stood in a fighting stance. James was now getting used to his ability, he could now control them at will.
His forearm was now completely covered with his blue energy, he did not want to make the first move reason because the beast in front of them had not harmed them, so it would not be right for him to attack.
"Who are you?" the brown looking beast asked them. Although the beast face looked terrifying, it actually had an angelic voice.
"We are not your enemies" Getrax replied.
"then if you are not my enemy, what are you?" The brown looking monster replied.
"Friends, we are your friends" The little boy replied with a huge smile on his face. He was no longer on Getrax's back.
"Friends" the beast also said while trying to force a smile on its ugly face.
There was now a brief moment of silence in the room as no one knew how to instigate a good conversation. James blue energy was no longer wrapping his forearm.
"How long have you been here, who are your parents" The little boy asked.
"I have no clue" the beat said. "I don't even know how i came into existence, i cannot remember anything, why can't i remember anything".
"I am also in your shoes, i cannot remember anything, it makes me feel really Uncomfortable that i know nothing about my past" James said. James was now also thinking that maybe the Mevorotrians also did this to him.
Why can't he remember his past? how did he get these powers?, is he really a mutant or something else?, was he created in a lab? who were his parents or loved ones?.... These were the thoughts that ran through his head, but where interrupted by a loud banging that was made at the door.
BANG***BANG***BANG***
The metal door had been hit so hard that it had finally broken into pieces. The sight of the broken door had sent fear down everyone's mind in the room.
They could not see what broke the door as smoke was emanating from that area. Gradually gigantic footsteps could be heard.
The trio had ran behind the bear looking creature's for safety, the first to run there was the little boy and after seeing that the little boy was not harmed by the beast, James and Getrax followed.
The smokes had finally settled and then there was a brief moment of silence.
"Argh" a loud roar was made. It came from the gigantic half human girl, half spider gigantic blue skin creature that was once chasing them. The Beast had somehow found where they were.
After the great roar, the beast opened its mouth again and this time, a big fire came out of it's mouth and this fire was heading towards them.
