Fly between the clouds
I carry an elf girl in my embrace and exit the slave cart. the human and beast-man saw l come out and Notice that I'm carrying an elf girl in my embrace.
The elf girl opened her eyes and looked around herself, but then she saw many people around us she quickly hid her face in my embrace and held my clothing tightly.
"What happened? Why are you afraid? They are not gonna hurt you" l said and gently patted her head to try to make her feel comfortable.
She will not leave me, but why is afraid of men so much? I guess human men and her previous slave trader have done something wrong with her which makes her hate against the men.
Without any delay, l hold the elf girl and carry her like princess style, and fly towards the imperial palace.
The elf child feels something unusual around her. She opened her eyes and looked straight.
"Huh...she is so calm. I thought she would panic and scream seeing that we are flying, instead, she is looking around with amusement and fun" Xzson smiled and increased his speed.
"Aaaah".
The elf girl screams and closes her eyes from fear, and holds Xzson's attire tightly as her life depends on that.
"Don't scream, I'm not gonna drop. Before we reached the palace let's fly " l said to her calmly and suddenly stopped flying, we started falling but l was calm on the other hand the elf girl burst out screaming and crying aloud.
"Ahhhhh!" She sticks her body with mine and holds my waist with all her might, her teardrop starts to fly upwards in the air making me feel l have taken this so far.
I immediately flew up with her and faded into clouds" Hey open your eyes, we are not falling! "l gently stroke her soft cheeks and try to stop her from crying.
Soon she opened her green eyes and looked at me with teary eyes which are filled with anger and sadness. l suddenly felt guilty for making a child cry like this l again patted her head and flew towards the white thick clouds.
We are across the clouds and make a huge hole between them. We keep flying straight between those clouds, she often pulls her hand too close and tries to grab clouds, but she couldn't, how can she hold something in gas from?
Soon l start rotating left and right something up and down, she finally laughs and smiles at me telling me she is enjoying this after all. I soon smile too and fly straight towards the fly, l keep in my try not to fly more than 10,000 feet because it would become difficult to breathe.
Xzson and the elf child fly straight towards the sky. But soon the white clothing covering Xzson's face suddenly falls off revealing his face to the elf girl.
I saw my face revealed to her and she was staring at me with a surprised gaze. "what happened? Why are you looking at me like that".
I didn't receive any response from her of course, she doesn't know the human language. Soon we reach the maximum breathable height.
We both looked around and saw the orange sky straight group of clouds in a line segment to the end of the horizon where the sun is about to disappear and the moon will take its place.
"Beautiful. isn't it?" I asked her, looking straight at the beautiful sun that l haven't seen anywhere.
She looked at me and nodded her head and smiled. I became surprised to know she understood me l looked at her and patted her head.
"No, it's almost the night! We should head to the Imperial Palace or they would go crazy if l make any more delays" l said and fly toward the dragon kingdom castle.
(Arthur: hello everyone! I know that you all are wondering why l often change the way calling the MC like l and Xzson. Well, l don't have any greater reason why and l don't wanna make an excuse, all l say is that I'm still trying to improve my writing skills, l took an incentive to try other ways of writing and thought it could improve me, but after writing many chapters l realise my previous writing was way better.
