Ch. 3

As I looked up, tears fell down my eyes. The robots walked to me, and looked down at me. Their soulless blue robot eyes looking down at me.

Something in me clicked, my eyes going emotionless. Everything went ablur. My arms grabbing the robots by their nape.

I slam their heads against the iron bars repeatedly, when I was done I took their keys. I returned to normal, what did I just do?

I looked at my hand, it was covered in oil, my eyes narrowed and I looked at my hand in fear.

"Will I be a monster?" I thought to myself, I shook my head. It wasn't time to think like that, this isn't important.

I just need a way to survive and return home, I have to find a way home... If there is a way.

I unlocked the cell, and opened it. I had an overwhelming sense of happiness, I've never felt more alive.

I looked at the other people in cells, and I let them out. The keys jangling, in an instant the people ran out. The cells emptying out like water in a used river.

"Woah?!" I thought to myself as I fell, landing on my butt. "Ouch." I said out loud, it was pretty painful. "Why did that hurt so much?!" I thought to myself in anger.

Was I really that weak? Man, I really should've taken Mr. Brin's advice and work out, and look at my now. In a world with futuristic tech, monsters and clocks.

"At this point it might as well be, clockwork." I said to myself. But I was serious, so I got up and looked around.

"I need to think, I need to be calculative, I can't be weak... That means death." My voice became stoic, there it was... That tingling feeling of nothingness. But I have to endure it, for now atleast.

I felt a light energy, it was coming from the other side of the prison. I decided to walk to it, intrigued and enlightened.

When I arrived I saw Shujinkō, what was she doing here? I thought she escaped, but that's none of my business. I only came to look anyway.

But maybe I should snoop, to make sure nothing happens and I have knowledge for the future.

So I hid behind a wall, secretly watching Shujinkō, I was surprised with what I saw. She grabbed a small ball.

"What is that? It's small and intriguing, and it's exuding the same energy I felt from earlier." I thought to myself, all of a sudden the system spoke.

[That small ball is called a, "cultivation orb". It is commonly used for magic, and stat enhancements.]

All of a sudden she looked towards me, and I quickly hid.

[New objective.]

Everyone looked surprised, what do you mean new objective?

I looked back at Shujinkō, I have to see her reaction. How useful is this CO(Cultivation Orb)?

She had the look of absolute surprise, she's never seen this. Or so I think? She couldn't have experienced this before... Right?

"Never in my... Three-hundred regression's have I seen this. It was supposed to happen on Objective ■■■. Why is it happening now?" She spoke to herself in confusion.

I had a look of absolute surprise, she died or came back whatever many times?! If so... How much knowledge does she have.

I decided to leave, it's obvious I'm outmatched, and all the information I could get out of her would get filtered.

"System, navigate to the exit." I said to the system, but it didn't respond. I looked and narrowed my eyes in anger.

"Tch, I'll kill whoever took me here." I spoke in absolute resentment, as I was near the exit, I looked.

"I only have 3 seconds left?!" I thought to myself, and I made a jump up fate, will I fail or will I succeed?

I opened my eyes, I made it. I didn't die!

"Yes!" I yelled out in glee, this was a big win.

As I looked up, I saw a blue hue, the same blue hue as my clock necklace. I grabbed it, and it was a cultivation orb.

I smiled, when I saw the coins I was confused what can I use coins for? They're useless at my current disposal, but I might as well save them. It might be useful later.

"How do I cultivate this orb?" I said in confusion.

"Oh, pretty straightforward." I cleared my throat and stood up, why would I start meditating now? I'm not idiotic, I need to get to a safe place.

I ran away, and got into a secluded area, and I was out of the Clockwork city. But I was in a forest, but currently it could be acceptable.

I started meditating.

At this point, my spiritual energy started forming. My veins turn into a glowing purple, and my light blue energy forming my body.

My spirit floats in the sky, releasing a warm and relaxing energy. It was refreshing.

I dozed off, and when I woke up, my Cultivation Orb was gone, but my body felt lighter. And more elastic.

"That was awesome." I Yelled as I yawned.

Stretching, my body shakes. That was the best stretch I had in a while... I realized.

"I haven't slept for a day." I said to myself.

"Interesting." A man spoke behind me.

I jumped in surprise, jumping away and looking behind me.

This man Caucasian with black eyes, his hair was short and he was pretty muscular. His hair color was white, and his attire was a traditional Japanese Yukata with wooden flops.

"Hello? Kid, you alive?" The man spoke.

I just stared.

"Who are you?" I said in confusion.
