She wasn't going to let him know he still had the strongest of effects on her... "Say that again," his entire aura had gotten darker, as he dared her, dared her to open her mouth and speak to him again in that defying tone, dared her to say the words that she was going to belong to another, dared her to dare him... "I will never be yo... mmph." Her lips were forcefully taken, and his hands held onto her face, her hands punched and scratched his chest, and she fought to release herself from his hold, but he didn't let go, and he forced her to open up to him, digging deeper into her mouth, dragging her tongue, munching on her lips, kissing the words completely away from her mouth. "Aah!" She cried as he bit hard on her lip like beef and he made her bleed, and her blood stained his lips, and he licked it up... "You are mine, you were specifically crafted and created for me, you have always been mine, and till the worlds cease to exist, you will remain mine. And I will make sure of that." "You will never have my heart again." "Oh, but I will. I will win back not just your heart, but I will take your body as my trophy too."

14. That one person

"Any other reason why you like high places?"

"I'm sure you're going to find something to counter it."

"No, I won't." He firmly states, but then he looks at her again... "well it depends, so maybe." He says, and she laughs out loud at his words, and he couldn't help but think ``she has a weird laugh_ but it's nice.``

"Well, the other reason why I like high places is that it makes you feel closer to the sky, and the sun, and moon, and stars." She sips from her cup, stealing a quick glance at him as she did so, and she could tell... "I knew it, you have something to counter this too," she says, laughing and holding onto her cup with both hands.

"No, I don't."

"That's a lie. I can tell you don't agree with what I just said." She points a guilty finger at him, and he raises a palm up in defeat.

"I don't disagree with you, White, I just have a different opinion."

"Tell me," she raises her brows and pops her eyeballs, maybe she didn't know this, but she did this very often, and anytime she did it, there was something cute about the view to him.

"Yes, high places make you feel closer to the sky, but have you ever been on a beach, just the ocean and the sands? And when you sit out there on the open sand, and all you can see for miles is an infinite amount of water, and you can see a line where the sky touches the water," He was winning this one. He could see that agreeing look on her face.

"And when the sun goes down, you can swear it touches the water, and you feel closer to it than you've ever felt in your whole life. And at night when the stars come out, and at times when the sea is calm, you can see their reflection on the water, like a mirror. I don't think anything beats that view, and that closeness to the sky." He ends his oration and raises his cup to her once again, and she lets out a low laugh, punching her cup into his in a cheering gesture.

"I have to agree with you on that one, even though I've never been to a beach myself,"

"Really?" his eyes dilated with awe as she nods a truthful yes. "Never, ever?" he asks again, and she nods a yes. "Not even once?" he asked once more, and her answer was sincerely the same.

"First, you've never ridden on a motorcycle before, and now you've never been to a beach... Interesting." He comments and sips from his cup.

"Why are you not asking me?" She suddenly says, and he could see her face had turned glum again. "Are you not curious to know why I was walking in the rain like an idiot?"

"Like an idiot?" he pushes his lower lip forward and takes his palm to her face, lifting her chin up with his index finger, slowly turning her head left and right, as if inspecting her face, and he leans in closer to her face to get a better look.

And she took in a sharp breath, and she held it, her lips paused, the cold she once felt on the outside was sipping out of her, as a whole new warm sensation was overwhelming her entire being.

She was quickly turning scarlet, as he stared at her face so intently. And her eyes could not take looking into his for so long so she shifts her gaze to the side, but he turns her head again, forcing her gaze to be on him. ``oh Lords! Why does he have to look like this``

"I don't see any idiot here." He finally speaks again. "A pretty silver-haired lady, Yes, but no idiot." He nods to himself, and finally releases her, and she could finally let out the air she was holding in, quickly drinking more coffee to hide her face from him.

If this continues, she knew he was bound to be the cause of her death, because, since the first time she met him up till this moment, there were numerous times she held her breath.

Other times, she completely forgot how to breathe, it was unfathomable to her that someone as perfect as he, would want anything to do with her, and she liked that he liked her.

"But yes, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious as to why you stood me up, and why I found you walking in the rain. But then again, you said I was the one person you didn't wish to see, so I'm guessing I'm also the one person you don't want to give an explanation to, so I'm not asking."

"I'm sorry." She says,

"But White," he puts his cup of coffee down and places both his hands on her shoulder, bringing his head lower to her level as he looks her straight in the eye. "I want to be that one person," he takes a palm to the side of her face, caressing her cheek in his palm, "That one person you wish to share your problems with."

His thumb brushed the side of her pale lips, and he wished to kiss her and make them crimson red, this little Maltese was something. Something he couldn't explain in just a single word.

And as his lips drew closer to hers, her lashes fell close, and he studied her face, and it was beautiful, and in an almost bewitching compulsion, his eyes also fell close, and he...

*KNOCK*KNOCK*KNOCK*

*Fwoosh* The two of them were instantly jerked out of their positions by the loud knock on the door, Erina's coffee almost spilling on her, as she coughed and cleared her throat, nervously holding on to her flushed face and Reuel was ready to murder whoever was at the door.

"Sir, I brought what you asked for." It was Gary with the clothes he was asked to get. Reuel did not tell him what exactly to get, he had just told him to get anything comfortable for a woman, so the man now stood outside the door with shopping bags, containing different things.

"Come in," and even though Gary was hoping the man would help him with the door, he knew it was wishful thinking, so he just takes some bags to his mouth and holds it with his teeth, then he turns the doorknob open. He was a really competent man, and he was proud of himself.

But the look of pride quickly sipped out of his face as he felt the cold gaze of Reuel on him, and he didn't need a shaman to tell him, he had interrupted something very important.
