Under the harsh desert sun, a ruby eyed girl awkwardly stood next to Ethan, trying to get used to the new desert clothes she had just donned after they bought it.
A long, cream-colored tunic flowed loosely around her body, with a matching belt that held the fabric more neatly around her waist, firmly holding them in their place.
The thin, soft-textured veil hung from her head to her neck, providing protection from the sand and the occasional howling desert wind, as well as the scorching sun of the desert at noon.
"Not bad, huh?"
Ethan looked her over from head to toe, his voice a little jovial but when one looks closer into his eyes, it was showing his approval.
Claire smiled a little, though still a little awkwardly.
"It's a little… weird. I'm not used to it. It feels like…"
She glanced at the traditional clothing of the people around them, as if seeking justification for her own clothing.
"Like a real wanderer?"
