CHAPTER 41 Happy New Year 2

　　After a while of sitting and talking, we all got up to have a dance, and Dawson certainly had rhythm, as he moved me along to the vibrant tune that the singer was belting out. We were having tonnes of fun while laughing away together, as I tried not to get the heel of my boot wedged into the muddy undergrowth, as the last thing I needed to do was to fall over.

　　Taking part in a few games stalls that were dotted around, we had a go of hook-a-duck, and Dawson won me a teddy bear, which I clung onto and planned on keeping as a wonderful keepsake for the rest of my days.

　　With a carousel being present, we had a go, and I was glad that it wasn’t leaving the ground and going up in the air anywhere. Holding hands as the ride began and the carousel’s horses we were sat on bobbed up and down in their rhythmic pace, the icy wind swept through my hair, as I looked upon the man that I loved the most in the world.
